Rowan paced the house feeling as if she was going to go mad. She knew she hadn’t really been there for long, but it seemed as if she could feel every second as it passed by her. Every second turned into minutes, then hours, and soon, Rowan knew it would be days. The walls seemed to slowly close in on her, and she began pacing the house.
Even Burger seemed to catch on to Rowan’s nervous energy. He watched her pace back and forth over and over again until Rowan was afraid the poor dog would hurt his neck.
Finally, Rowan threw her arms in the air in frustration, unable to stand being inside anymore.
-Let’s go for a walk- she suggested. -I don’t want to be couped up any longer-
