There will always be that one point in someone’s life where they feel the world is falling to pieces, where doubt settles in and takes over, where they’re at a complete loss and nothing can fix it. They’re pushed into a corner and don’t know how to act. Either way they go will turn out with a negative outcome.
I didn’t think I would come upon this day now as a lonely teenage girl that doesn’t know what’s real and what isn’t while she stands in a whole other realm, surrounded by pure light despite there not being any windows nor artificial lighting. But, hey. What do I know? I’ve barely even lived. Kept in the shelter by my parents, kept enough that I don’t even know my own truth.
