William yelped, hurriedly stepping aside just in time to avoid it and Alastor would have been amazed by the kid's swift reflexes if it weren't for the cushion hitting Winters (who must have been standing right behind William) square on the face.

WINTERS?!

The two of them visibly paled as the cushion fell with a barely audible thud to the carpeted floor while Winters remained standing so still, face eerily blank as she stared right back at him.
