Chapter 6. Reality

People say I act like I don't care. It's not an act. -Marcel.

As soon as Dolores got close to the unusual book in the middle of the white room, she was sucked in.

As if watching a document, Dolores felt her eyes going through a novel called, "Saving my moonlight in the haunted mansion".

Sadie Laurent was going through her late grandfather's stuff when she found an old key.

Sadie being a curious cat spirit, kept pestering her parents to know where this place was, but her parents kept avoiding answering. At last, Sadie pestered the old granny of her house.

Finally knowing it was a large mansion in the countryside, the granny also mumbled about the house is evil and nobody should live there.

But Sadie's curiosity made her heart itch, at least she wanted to see the antiques in the old house, it was from the 1940s!

As for the granny calling it evil and stuff, it's probably old people's thinking.

Ha, even if there was something evil, she could also see it!

After the holidays, Sadie invited 8 of her friends to go with her, and she was still a little scared in her heart, bringing more people gave her courage.

As for saying that the mansion was maybe haunted, Sadie hid it for some reason, she felt it would be embarrassing to tell, after all the Laurent family was extremely rich having something like a haunted house would create a scandal. She couldn't lose her reputation!

Dolores already knew what happened when they entered the house, but the lines below almost caused her to dig her nails in her flesh.

There were five women and three men in the group that arrived. Unfortunately, Dolores and Naomi, two of Sadie's friends died on the second day by the ghost's anger.

There was also a couple, who died the third day under the female ghost's torture.

On the fourth day, Sadie's closest best friend, June and another boy died.

But, at last Marcel and Sadie somehow survived without even a scratch on their body.

This was actually because Marcel Ryuu is the direct descendant of the Imperial Exorcist who exorcised demons and ghosts from the 1900s starting from Japan.

The only reason, Marcel came with Sadie was because he was worried about Sadie meeting a ghost, Marcel knew Sadie wouldn't believe him if he warned her about such things.

Marcel followed Sadie as a shadow, all along the way, Marcel never paid attention to others.

As Marcel finally entered the mansion, he could feel the evil spirit of a woman living here, but he kept quiet waiting for the spirit to show itself.

Marcel himself was a very competitive person and was actually enough to handle such a ghost.

But, why did only Marcel and Sadie survive in the end? Just because Marcel felt Sadie's friends were useless, getting scared and fainting left and right.

After her death, Marcel looked at the two girls, Dolores and Naomi dead on the bed, he couldn't help but feel how people could be scared to death.

Marcel couldn't help but sneer in his heart, from Marcel's point of view, he simply looked down on Dolores and Naomi.

But for Sadie, Marcel didn't hesitate to use his long-cultivated spiritual energy to prevent ghosts from coming near her.

The whole time Sadie was present in that Mansion, she didn't actually get tormented by the ghosts even once.

As for the practically glued couple, Ariel and Caleb, Marcel didn't even bat an eye at them.
