Chapter 10. Naomi's distress

--------------

I'm gonna be strong no matter what I am facing right now, the future is bright and I know it. -Naomi.

Looking at the scene, the ghost was reminded of her time with her master, yes, she was a maid of the Laurent family called Gwen who fell in love with her master Andrew Laurent.

Ghost Gwen, as a soul couldn't shed tears, seeing how lucky the girl in front of her was, she was alive and had a man that would protect her unconditionally.

Suddenly, Marcel shot some spiritual energy towards the ghost standing above the bed, causing the ghost to dodge and return near the door.

Marcel glanced coldly towards the ghost while gently moving to not wake up Sadie. Marcel's eyes were full of disgust sensing the vast portion of souls devoured by Gwen's ghost's soul.

Gwen didn't dare to go forward anymore, she rather showed her beautiful head, "Don't think I won't hurt you both because of your little energy!"

Marcel rolled his eyes, "I wouldn't even let you near me or her, go play your little games on those idiots out there."

Gwen's hair flew as if she wanted to stone Marcel like Medusa, "Don't think I'm afraid of you, it's just that I have more toys to play with heh~" As Gwen said she thought about Dolores's face.

Gwen has lived for two hundred years, and she has already seen these types of shamans and exorcists, she just felt angry looking at couples.

"Then go play with them, dirty thing." Marcel saw that Sadie was about to wake up and impatiently stopped paying attention to the so-called fearsome ghost.

Gwen's ghost felt that killing these both is better than killing Dolores and Naomi, seeing that it was almost morning, the ghost humphed and disappeared from the room.

𝑰𝒏 𝑫𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑵𝒂𝒐𝒎𝒊'𝒔 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎,

Naomi woke up from her unconscious state, looking at the three layers of blanket on her and the soft snores of Dolores on the opposite bed, she fell into a daze, we survived? We..did!

She was unlucky to meet friends like Sadie, but now she meet Dolores, she remembered how Dolores didn't care about herself and helped her out of the death grip of the ghost.

If only she was stronger! Naomi clenched her fists, she needs to calm down and help instead of being a drag!

Although they can't get out of this room during the night, they can when the sun rises the door will automatically unlock.

Naomi used to think down on Dolores before this incident, she felt restrained being from a wealthy family, now when she gets out of here she will assist Dolores in any difficulty she ever finds herself in!

Glancing at the clock tickling to 5 AM, Naomi laid back down, waiting for the doors to unlock and wake Dolores up.

Dolores slept until 7 AM when she was shaken awoke by Naomi, Dolores felt reenergized and sitting up, she looked at the smiling Naomi, perplexed she asked, "Hm? The ghost didn't come again huh?"

Dolores frowned staring at the untreated wounds on Naomi's head, last time due to the darkness she couldn't notice much, looking at the crisscrosses and Naomi's pale face, she realized Naomi required treatment.

Naomi hastily shook her head denying that she felt unwell glimpsing at Dolores's troubled expression, "Dolores I'm alright! Look I can even dance for you!

Not listening to Naomi's excuses, "Let's go down and find the necessary medicine for you. "

Dolores recalled that all of them could go out during the day because of the ghost being afraid of the daylight and the ghost wouldn't waste her soul energy maintaining these doors closed. But they nevertheless can't leave the mansion.

"But..I don't want to be alone in here even if it's the day, what if it comes back..!" Naomi finally said her suspicion, she worried about being alone.

Dolores held her forehead, "Well, let's go down together then."

Naomi poked her head out of the door and watched both directions waiting to see if someone would appear as well, as she twisted her head to Dolores to whisper, she saw that Dolores stepped ahead of her directly outside the room without any precautions,

Causing Naomi to hastily follow.
