As Leo hugged the kids, Ai's gazes shifted from them to Xue.


When she saw Xue, her eyes were filled with confusion. 


"Leo, did you bring a wife back?", Ai asked sarcastically, making Xiao Xue widen her eyes in shock.


"Eh? I think you misunderstood something…", Xiao Xue stammered.


"Auntie! She's not my wife, she's a friend from the academy.", Leo defended, feeling a bit burdened and wronged when he heard Ai say that.


Ai chuckled as she saw Leo's surprised expression. "Sure, I believe you."


"I wasn't lying at all, auntie-", Leo said as he frowned.


"Okay, I'll stop teasing you. Bring your friend into the house.", Ai said as she walked inside.


"I knew that you were teasing me…", Leo stared at her as she walked into another room.


Leo grinned and walked inside, with Xiao Xue trailing behind him.


"You're just in time for lunch! Have a seat.", Ai said as she placed two extra plates and spoons in front of them.
