TABLE TURNS

"I TRIED MY BEST TO RUN AWAY FROM ALL MY MISTAKES, I DID, BUT THEY SAID IT RIGHT, THE MORE YOU RUN THE MORE THEY HUNT YOU"

VOICE OVER

They say some sins are unforgettable and if you are in heaven where you think you are not gonna be punished for it, so please snap out if it, your life will definitely punish you sooner or later. You know the karma thing is actually the truth.

Somewhere in a corner of the world, at night there was a party going in a hotel named THE "RADDISSION" to complete its 20 years successfully. The hotel was indeed appealing. It was one of the best hotels in the city, facing the seaside, a perfect view I must say. I saw a man in a black tuxedo giving a speech, looking handsome with his grey eyes & blonde hair expecting to be the owner of the hotel. He cheered for all the people present there and told them to enjoy the party. I was sitting at my table when my eyes suddenly went to a girl who was continuously drinking. She was looking tired at first. I thought maybe she was exhausted from the environment, but when she kept drinking a glass of wine over and over I knew something was up looking at her alcohol tolerance. She was used to of it. Her beautiful green eyes were showing guilt & regret. She was looking pale & drained, like she was sick of life. She was about to fall when her friend held her shoulder and said "Watch out MARTHA" and made her sit on the table.

MARTHA  DARK POV

I woke up with a severe headache, my head was spinning like someone had hit it with a rod. The flashes of last night came to my mind and I remembered how I fell unconscious of continuous drinking and my friend dropped me at my place. It was usual for me to get drunk, create chaos and become unconscious. When you are broken from inside, only a drink helps you to overcome what you have lost. But in my case, I had lost everything because of myself. I am the culprit of my vulnerable state. I can't even cry because this world is cruel. If you are helpless, they will take advantage of it. Yesterday, I went to a party thrown by my ex husband, Kevin Stewart, who was celebrating his success. Yeah, it sounds weird that I'm still attending my ex's parties, but you don't know the whole story. Our relationship ended because of me. He was not at fault. It was another huge mistake. I didn't take care of our love symbol & my unborn child died. I made situations such worst that it was better for us to end our relationship. Well, I was thinking that my life difficulties are over after that accident, which still haunts me. I really feel guilty about whatever happened that day, but I think my life is punishing me for that mistake till now. I am depressed about my own activities but I can't say it to anyone because for people I will be the biggest culprit & they will start passing their judgements. I was thinking about my bitter past while sipping coffee when suddenly I got a call from my workplace that they needed me there because the girl who has a night shift has some emergency. I got ready & went towards the hotel where I am a receptionist & got a fair salary to earn a comfortable lifestyle. I started my duty when I felt a sharp gaze on me. I looked here & there but found no one & thought that it was my delusion, but again I felt like someone was staring at me and this time I caught him. He signaled me with his drink & went towards his friend. I must say he was handsome but at the same time strange too. I feel an old connection with him. I don't know why his blue eyes have a lot of mysteries for which he is here. He wore a black t-shirt with jeans and a cap. The cap wasn't in fashion nowadays, but I think he has a huge reason behind wearing it. I went towards him and sat opposite to his chair.

"I saw you from there, looks like you have to say a lot" I said

"you are really good at pickup lines" He made me speechless.

"No, it's just, why were you looking at me?" I was finding difficulty looking for words as his sharp gaze was still on me.

"Is staring rude?" His questions are making me difficult to answer.

"Well, I don't think I have to answer your question, we are strangers." He said in his cold voice, which made me shiver a bit.

"So let's be friends, then we will get to know each other." I forwarded my hand to avoid his gaze.

"You're in too much hurry Miss whoever, and one should not shake hands in the first meeting, God knows what he has planned for us." He said in a secretive way. "And maybe we will meet again, in a different way." He grinned and walked out. His talks were full of suspense and so did he. I was really impatient to meet this mystery guy soon after a long time. Someone left me speechless. I smiled and shrugged my shoulder and I got bumped into someone.

"Someone is waiting for you in a black Mercedes." A waiter said & left. I went outside and saw the car but the owner of the car was nowhere. I went towards the car with small steps & saw a card on the bonnet. I opened the card & suddenly the blood splashed on my face leaving me devastated. I sat on the side of the car shivering while my eyes were still stuck on that card. I opened the card with fear.

"U LEFT ME BLEED,NOW ITS TIME

TO PAY IT BACK"

It was written with blood. I threw it away and started recalling the tragic night.

Martha leaves & changes your clothes, if somebody sees you like that they will doubt us." A girl said and went.

I was cleaning myself because blood droplets were all around my body when suddenly the battle of my mind and heart started.

" You killed him," my mind said. "It was not in our hands," my heart said. "Stop it! U killed an innocent" my mind shouted.

I ran out of the washroom crying loudly, when a shadow appeared. "See you have my blood in your hands" the shadow said.

"No, I didn't do anything" I shouted. "You killed me, you killed an innocent person "the shadow said. "No I didn't" and fell unconscious.
