In the moment of Death, Neirin who had many regrets in her life died. Thinking that it was time for her to go and welcome the after life, she woke up in the year 1356 of the empire calendar.



Trying to grasp the situation, Neirin realized that she went back 3 years in time before she got adopted as a temporary daughter of the Duke Halstead with all of her memories intact.



Remembering all of her regrets Neirin decided to make everything she had ruined right this time. With the duke’s deteriorating health and with the doctor’s sentenced of him having only one month to live. Duke Sebastian Hastead decided adopted Neirin Circe to become a shield- a temporary duchess of the halstead duchy for his son, Vincent Raphael Halstead, before his coming of age.



Neirin had a duty to protect Vincent but Vincent wasn't going to let someone stole his title and his position. He deserved to be the duke and not some random stranger who claimed to be his supposed elder sister.
