Humans

" Humans are so strange

some are evil

some are good

some are just blind

avoided with selfishness.

So should I love?

should I feel in touch with these humans?

because they are so scary their opinion is so deadly.

Should I leave everything?

die in my imaginary castle far away from people far away from humans.".

" Nice poem tho, but don't you think this park is so wonderful?" says Nadia, hurting my nerves ferociously while we are having a nice breeze in a near park.

I hate to be interrupted when reading. Especially if I'm in the remaining two pages.

"Can't you see I am reading?".

"Sorry, just wanted to start a conversation, actually I love the poem you are reading, Humans by Janet Said right?"

How did she know the name of the poem? or is she just pretending to know?

"The purest truth lies in the lie we tell ourselves and the people we love because we love them so much that we don't want them to be hurt," Nadia says referring to one of the most famous citations of Janet Said, my favourite poetess.

"Wow, it doesn't look like you read," I say trying to hurt her.

"Those poems are part of me," she says laughing while picking some flowers."What are you doing?" I ask."Picking some flowers for you." she says smiling.

Her smile irritates me. "Trying to kill the time...oh look who is over there, Mr Yeong and his dog," she says. And before I knew it, Neptune was running dragging Aaron towards my direction. "Neptune, what's the matter?"Aaron asks with adrenaline while Neptune keeps barking at me.

"I think he recognized me," I say trying to look nice."Wait...this voice...are you, Nora? Nora Winter? I think we met like two weeks ago at my uncle's funeral."Yeah, she is the one, so nice to see you again." Nadia says."Same for me, nice to see you."Aaron replies.

I don't know what's more ridiculous, Aaron saying nice to see you or Nadia interrupting my discussion.

"I hope it's all fine, I know how it feels I've lost so many people, from my daughter to my mom... life is hard..." Nadia says with a different tone in her voice.

She had a daughter?

"Will you please stop making everything about you?" I say with a docile voice trying to look good in front of Aaron, but with my face filled with hatred towards Nadia, that understands and keeps quiet.

"Thanks for the care, but what brought you, people, here?" He asks.

"Today the weather is pretty nice, so staying at the park looks lucrative." I reply.

"Well, bad weather or good I am always here, Neptune needs training.

"Even Nora needs training." Nadia says laughing.

Did she just compare me to a dog?

I ignore her because God knows that if I do something, someone is going to get hurt.

And my disability won't be an obstacle.

And that someone is she.

Sorry, but I was about to leave. My grandmother needs me, but before I go... would you like to come and have dinner with us tomorrow evening? My grandmother is having a reception tomorrow ?" he asks.

" Of course!" Nadia says hurting my nerves again. "

Then, can't wait to get to know them both of you," Aaron says with a huge smile on his face, leaving me and Nadia.

Guess tomorrow evening is going to look somehow.
