"I don't know what I'll ever do when I lose you or the others, Fin"

A young boy with those light blonde hair and crimson eyes whispered through the dark of the night looking at the sleeping boy that was full of bruise and injuries. He wanted to return the same pain that the young boy had felt, Ger wanted to fight the guys that hurt his precious brother, however he was stopped when Finneas' hand hold his sleeves earlier. He was supposed to fight those jerks when unconsciously Finneas stopped him

'I don't even know that even at your sleep you still managed to stopped me from what I'm about to do, Finneas. You truly are a jewel to me, you four are'

Ger, started caressing Fin's smooth face. They were inside the narrow alley. It was after Finneas had woken up that he plead for Ger to bring him home and the home that he was saying was all about the narrow alley that they were born to. Ger didn't know why but he wanted to shout at that moment. He wanted to be angry but he could only clench his fists hard while portraying some smiles towards the people that took care on Finneas. He was full of smiles to them that it hurt him so much inside.

'If the society that we lived in was that of a place that status was never a reason to degrade someone or even judges them, then it would be a peaceful and better place not only for us but for others as well. If only we're not abandoned in the first place then maybe we may never experience such cruelty of life'

After bringing Finneas to their home, their other siblings had already done their "supposed duties" every night.

"I promised, Finneas someday we'll be able to live on a place that is peaceful and no poverty like this"

Whispers only echoed inside that alley, however no one seemed to hear any of those words considering that the old man was sleeping and the others went to roam around the market at night. Yet, even though no one heard a single word that Ger said Finneas' eyes gave a single tear that shone through the moon's cool and silver rays. Yet, it's too late for Ger to see it when he had already fallen asleep hugging Finneas through the cold lonely nights that always appear in their home

"As I expected your highness, Miss Hersha was truly inside the clinic"

"Yes, Fahar. Piel and I found her still unconscious in one of the ordinary rooms"

"I'm just glad that she's alright and nothing bad had happened between you two, your highness"

"I know Fahar. I know. It's because someone had decided to change that's why we're never troubled in the first place"

'Changed? What is his highness' thinking about? Did it make possible for them to be safe because someone decided to change?'

Evidently, Fahar's thoughts were written all over his face that made Charles giggled and shook his head while holding Hersha's hands inside his room

"Fahar, whatever the reason was I also don't know but trust me, Lady Victoria had changed now and she changed for the better"

'What? So the rumors were actually true! It's not only the rumors but his highness had confirmed what I'm doubting about! So if losing her memories also changes her behavior, attitude as well as feelings, then it might be a good thing for the crown prince Charles, right? I don't get it why however, if that's the case then I'm more into the new Lady than the old one. Besides, the reality that his highness just said "Lady Victoria" than the usual words he's always saying about like "annoying lady" proves that he knew of that change and it's real. I couldn't get more happy for his highness and Miss Hersha' however, if Lady Victoria was out of the picture then he's only problem right now is the his father'

"Then it's a good things for you right now, your highness"

"As much as I wanted to celebrate these feelings of mine Fahar, I can't. it's because I haven't yet bought a title for Hersha. I still hadn't had those kinds of powers right now. So I could only keep Hersha again by my side like how we used to"

"…"

Fahar didn't know any words to speak because he doesn't want to conclude anything yet. He doesn't want to say a word to him knowing that it can change his point of view or even. He could only expressed how sad he is by sighing and shaking his head

"However, someday Fahar, in the near future I'll be able to live a happy life with this lady sleeping in front of me"

After saying those, Charles' lips lifted upward that he tightened his hold towards the soft and pale hands of Hersha. Yet, when he focused his sight towards the sleeping lady, images of Victoria flashed through her mind. He didn't know why but the scenario that he first recognize' Victoria's beauty had flashed in his mind that made him closed his eyes and avert his gaze from the sleeping lady

'Why did I suddenly remembered those brown hair and eyes that smiled through the brightness of the surrounding? Why did I suddenly thought of those cool breeze swaying her hair while she looked at me straight to my heart? Why? No! this can't be. Breathe slowly Charles. You're only tired that's why you thought of her'

"Your highness, are you alright? It seems like you have caught a fever"

"No Fahar, I'm alright. I'll stay longer with Hersha and you can go back to your chambers"

Fahar wanted to protest because he only saw how worried and problematic his highness was but because it was the crown prince's order, he only bowed respectfully. Yet, before he completely went towards his chambers, he said something to the crown prince

"Your highness, if you needed someone to talk to, I'm always here with you and with Miss Hersha"

Those simple words of encouragement made Charles smiled at him while nodding

"Of course Fahar. I know that you'll always be there with our side"

Then with that, the personal butler of the crown prince respectfully left the room leaving the two of them inside the crown prince's room.

After knowing that Charles was only left with Hersha inside the room, he immediately kissed the back of her hand then looked worriedly towards her

"I don't know what I would do if I ever lose you Hersha. I don't even know what did I do to deserve you seeing like this"

"Alright, Milady don't tell me that you wanted to go to the market again this day?"

"Wait Melly, how did you know?"

'See? She's truly intelligent sometimes but sometimes she's also dense. It's better this way'

Melly only heave a sigh and started pointing towards her dress while shaking her head.

"No, Milady. Sir Howald was now busy with his training and I'm also busy for some preparations for the weekends that's why you're not allowed to go outside for now"

"But Melly you know that---"

Victoria wasn't able to finish what she was saying when Melly cut her off with a long sigh and immediate response

"Lady Victoria, --- then Melly looked towards the Lady's direction seriously --- if I say that you can't then you can't"

Victoria only gulped upon knowing that Melly was having so much patience towards her. Yet, she only smiled afterward with her actions. It's because she knew that when Melly speak of her name, she's truly serious as of the moment

'I guess she's more like a mother figure to me --- more like my mother in my previous life truly. Every action she portrays was the same as hers and her strictness just now was like hers'

Victoria only shook her head. She had now moved on from the past knowing that her present situation was more important than her previous life. However, her memories and happiness in her previous life will always remain in her heart

'I guess for this once, I'll obey what Melly had said. Wait----what is she talking about the weekends? Is there some special events to come up? As far as I'm concerned instead of Victoria always going inside the imperial palace to visit Charles --- the new Victoria, which is me, had been going outside of the Chutlier but not to the imperial household but towards the market. That's the only things I've known in the novel when she's young. There's now unique event unless there's always someone attempting to kill her. That's all so what weekends is Melly talking about'

It's as if she was lately informed about the events that will took place days from the current day they were in, Victoria was suddenly confused

"I guess the duke and the duchess wasn't able to tell you about the news, Milady. However, the news is not in my stead for me to tell you Milady. You must heard those words from the duke and duchess themselves"

At first Victoria was stunned because of how rule abiding Melly was. It's because she knew she was one like that however, it's only surprising to her to feel her be like that than reading what Melly is in the novel.

Another reason was, it's true that the number one rule within the noble society was for the servants to never talk of the important event o their masters or Ladies unless they were given permission to. The important event or gatherings must be heard from the mouths of the noble families

"Alright, alright Melly. BUT! You must also be into this, right?"

Then Melly's eyes suddenly widened as her cheek turned red as she averted her gaze from the lady to look elsewhere

"Well, it's the only limited edition flour!"

Then the bag of flour inside Victoria's room that she persistently put inside unknowingly from her father and mother was hidden under her tea table in front of her large window

"Tada!"

"Milady! I thought you had brought them towards the kitchen! You truly persisted to carry them while Sir Howald was only carrying the back of the bag from your back yesterday"

"What can I say Melly, it's because Sir Howald had introduced us towards the baking material inside the market. You also wanted to learn baking right?"

"M-Milady!"

She was blushing hard --- Melly. It was because of what had happened yesterday. The moment that Victoria mentioned about Melly wanted to bake was the moment that Sir Howald offered her a hand when she was about to fall towards the ground holding a measuring cup

That scenario made her remember. Besides, the flour was another factor that made her heart raced louder. It's because Sir Howald had led them towards one of the most popular shops inside the market that other people have always visited

"Well, it's never too late to learn new things and skills, right Melly?"

'Here we go again'
