The Reincarnated Villainess Wanted To Run Away From The Plot

The night was long enough for Charles to know Victoria's answer but what he did was enough to open the lady's mouth without any words to come out. Sure that she wanted to say that he was only a friend to her, however, even she couldn't understand why her heart would start beating faster than before.

All she knew was, that she had to make Charles clear about their deal, there's nothing that was being on the way for them to only act, right? However, she thought that maybe, Charles had a deep longing for Hersha that's why he was acting a bit strange to her

Knowing that he might still have the after-effects of the fever he incurred because of the wound, she had no choice but to hug him. That's the only thing she could do to comfort a weeping patient. What else could she say? Could she even say words to him just to hurt him when he's recovering from his fever? No, right? So what matters most was to show him that he's not alone
