Chapter 23: Six Years Old

"Mom I'm heading out."

"Have a great day."

To think of having wet dream at this age is unforeseen.

It never happened before but today.

Maybe it's because of the moan my parents made yesterday in their room.

You may ask who you see in your dream. Well, I don't have to tell you that, right?

My dad is out running errand. He left right after dinner. I saw him carrying sword as he left. Well he always carries sword however today he looked a bit serious about something.

Plus the sword wasn't normal sword that he always carries but a new one. Maybe his old sword have gotten dull or broken.

Anyway let's hope her to be there. I don't know what I'm going to do if she's not there today again. I've my small wooden sword with me.

I've got magic book with me that I don't think I'll need it in the future so I'll just give it to her.

I thought as I walked.

"Hey kid."

I heard voice similar to the adventurer I met yesterday.

I turned to take a glance and found out I was right. He was approaching me.

He waved to me from distance so did I.

As we reached each other we began to talk.

"Oh, you're the adventurer from yesterday, Hello. Were you going somewhere?"

"Yeah, I was coming to visit your home to give you your portion for the help you'd done yesterday. Fortunately I didn't have to go all the way to your house since I found you here."

"Oh, you mean money."

"Yeah."

"Oh, how much did you get by selling skin and horns?"

I wasn't hopping him to show up to give me allowance but he actually did.

I'm glad he did, now I can think of buying something for myself, a book maybe or gift for my friend.

"I've gotta go so take this."

The moment he handed me pouch, I felt its weight. It certainly was heavy.

"There are 150 gold coins in it. By the way the total amount was 500 gold coins. See you again kid."

"Yeah, thank you so much for coming all the way from city just to give me this…, bye-bye and let's meet again."

He turned and indicated he's leaving by his hand.

Damn this is heavy. I better go back home and put this in safe place.

I turned to get back home.

As I walked I thought.

150 gold coins huh…, there's lot of things I can do with this much of money. I heard from my Master that gold coin has the highest value unlike copper coin, its value is really low. There's one more which is silver coin. Its value is not as high as gold but really high if it's compared with copper coins.

Coins either gold or silver or copper are the forms of currency. Unlike copper… gold and silver coin are two types, normal sized and small sized coins.

Two small sized gold coins are equal to one normal sized gold coin and forty silver coins are equal to twenty normal sized silver coins plus one thousand copper has same value as one normal sized gold coin.

The total was 500 gold so I was given thirty percent of it which is 150 gold coin. He really gave me a lot. I wasn't expecting this much.

Now I can be sure he is a person with integrity. Well there's no saying that I'm correct about it. I'm just guessing.

What am I going to do with this money? If my parents found about it, they probably think me stealing it from someone plus I can't show it to my friend. She's gonna think the same.

Well I can explain but i don't think they'll simply agree with my explanation without the words of him, the adventurer who gave me this.

Im gonna tell them about it later for now I'm gonna hide it in my room and head to meet my friend.

I arrived home.

I saw my mom on yard gardening veggies.

"Mom, I'm back."

"You came back already, I thought you just left."

"Yeah, I realized that I will not be needing this book today and the sword too."

I headed to my room.

Now where should I hide it? Maybe under the bed? Oh wait, I do have a box in which I put my treasures. I'm just gonna put this in there. Where is it? Oh right it's on the table.

As I opened it I talked to myself.

I used to put my small wand gifted by my Master in there but I gave it to my friend and it's now, nope it's not empty there's something special in it which is my Master's emblem tied with ribbon. It's her neckwear she gave me while parting from us. I really treasure it and I don't want to loss it so I put it here, and that's it. I don't have anything else here.

No, I don't have her clothes or anything like that.

I put the pouch in there and headed out without my sword and magic book.

"Mom, I'm going out and will be back before dusk."

"Yeah, have a great time."

I walked through grassy path.

As I walked I thought.

Today I'm gonna invite her to our home to meet my parents. However that depends on her, if she's there and doesn't want to come plus if she's not there then it can't be helped.

I'll just wander around if she's not there or practice sword techniques or do experiments with mana and my sword or do nothing. Oh wait, I left my sword at home.

My Master must have gotten fluent in angel language. I really miss her. I wonder where she is now and what she is doing. Hope she is fine and having a great time.

I want to get in contact with her but how?

Oh wait, there's a way. I'm gonna write her a letter. I want her to know that I'm missing her and how much important person she is to me and that I love her.

I don't have to worry about money since I've 150 gold coins now. My letter will get delivered by money I earned by helping those two adventurers. I don't have to ask my parents for it.

I arrived there. I saw my friend there.

"Oh, did you wait long?"

"No…, I just arrived here."

"Oh, you know I was worried about you since you didn't come here for a week? Did something happen to you?"

She blushed a bit.

"No, I'm perfectly fine. I'm sorry for worrying you."

"No, it's ok. So why didn't you come for a week?"

"I actually fainted each day while practicing magic and I always find myself awaken at dawn time."

I chuckled.

"Oh, that's why you couldn't be able to come."

Like me, at the start I used to get out all of my strength everyday when I practiced magic but not now. My mana capacity is now gone ultimate.

"What did you do during those times?"

"You mean when I was alone here?"

She nodded up and down.

"I either practiced sword techniques or went to forest or read book or thought about you."

She looks more cute when she blushes.

"Do you mind coming with me to my house?"

I continued.

"But why?"

"I want to introduce my first friend to my mom and dad. Plus you're going to know where my house is so you can sometimes come to my house if you you didn't find me here."

"Okay, I'm actually excited to meet your parents."

Oh she's now not afraid of meeting new people. That's good, that's good.

"Okay then let's go. Do you want to run?"

"Yeah, let's see who has greater stamina?"

"Yeah."

"Let's go."

We ran a bit but I got out of stamina before her.

"I'm surprised you're good runner plus you've greater stamina too."

I talked as I breath heavily.

While running I better to find a way to not to get out of breath too early.

"You think so?"

She's not fighting for air like me at all. I think she can still run without getting out of breath.

"Of course. Can we just walk? I don think I'm gonna run again before catching my breath."

"Oh okay."

We started walking.

Afterwards we reached my house.

"We're here. This is where I live. Come, let's get inside."

I better find mom, where is she? Maybe inside the house or at the backyard?

"Come let's go and meet my mom."

We forwarded to backyard. My mom was there gardening veggies and plants.

"Mom."

"Oh, you're back again. Did you forget something-?"

"No, mom I want you to meet with someone. This is my very first friend."

I signal her to introduce herself.

"Hello, I'm Ivy. It's nice to meet you."

That's good, that's good. She really can talk with people now easily.

"Oh, so cute…"

My mom was overwhelmed by her cuteness.

"As you know I'm Selene, his mother. It's nice to meet you too."

"Mom, where's father? Isn't he arrived yet?"

"I think he'll be here at dawn time."

"Oh, let's go."

"Wait, where are you going? Are you going outside again?"

"We're gonna play here for the time being and afterwards she's going to leave. Of course I'm going to accompany her on her way…, let's go Ivy."
