The journey to fight

It will not be wrong to say his words traumatized me that I could not play with the bicycle again but I consoled myself with the fact that I knew my father will never hesitate to let me ride any expensive car so I had to just wait until I become an adult.

"Then I will have to teach you when we have enough time for me to do so. We have to leave immediately. Lateness equals failure," she told me as she returned into the house and returned with a key.

I loved the sound of the car. I know you must be wondering how I knew how to drive a car. That is a very long story I have no time to explain but I will tell you a secret my cat had no idea about, "This was the first time I was sitting in front of steering to drive".

I almost said my last prayer before starting the engine but I held back knowing that I could simply jinx it all with a prayer such as 'a last prayer'.

I exhaled before pressing my foot against the accelerator I was so happy that the car was no different from those cars I have seen on earth.

I drove out of the garage door that opened automatically as soon as I drove the car to it. I was driving upwards and finally, I got out of the wall that literally opened before me and I was in an underground parking lot.

Who said wow? If it's not you, then I said it alone. That little room I was looking down on earlier, was the coolest hidden house I have ever seen. Is there even anything like a hidden house? Well, that is for you to figure out, lol.

Like I said earlier, the surprises were not over because as I followed the direction on the GPS, I found myself in a world I was never taught of. Thank goodness for a GPS in this world.

It was dark, looking like nighttime but it was also bright yet still looked like nighttime.

PEW!

Is there any way I could describe this? Well, what I saw above was a world with three nighttime natural satellites each of them having different sizes with the largest of them looking like a mixture of a blood moon and a blue ocean.

I was scared shitless. I wanted to return to earth at that very moment like my soul or whatever brought me to such a world should take me back to earth to the embrace of my mother and the stern face of my father.

"What the hell," I could not but say as I paused away from the entrance of the underground parking lot. The road ahead was not at all busy.

"We are getting late," the cat reminded me in displeasure and I frowned unwilling to take my eyes away from the scary sight.

The two small ones stayed together on one side and the other one stayed opposite them. The two smaller ones were what gave light to the sky like a double full moon.

I saw a few other cars on my way out to the place the cat wanted me to go and there were no traffic lights other traffic signs.

I paused in front of a building that looked like an ideal stadium and when the cat told me to get down from the car after packing it in the underground parking lot, I did and followed when it beckoned.

The roads and streets were almost empty of any living being and cars but the underground parking lot had a lot of cars in it.

"The person you are fighting against today is a man who has experience but he is not much of a winner and he has been here a decade earlier than you arrived so you must be careful when dealing with him," the cat coached me.

I nodded although I did not know what to think at that moment as I tried hard to keep my mind blank of any thoughts because I believed strongly that when faced with such crazy moments multitude of thoughts will create fear.

"The ability you acquired which made you unconscious for a day is going to protect you. It is an important shield."

I nodded my head again. I swear that if you witnessed it then you will simply call me an agama lizard, those creatures love nodding a lot I guess because they are as dumb as I was.

I walked into the stadium and I heard a loud cheer. Just like the idea that the filled parking lot gave me, it seems the whole town was gathered in that stadium to watch either me or my opponent fight maybe as fans?

I am not very well into trying to gain popularity since it was inevitable for me to get popular with the wealth I was going to acquire before I died but hearing the cheer as soon as I walked into that box, I felt my shoulders rise on their own accord.

Standing on that platform, I stared around at the spectators and I was amazed by the various cats and other humans I saw. Perhaps it was a trend in this world that people love to dye their hairs into different inhuman colors and go around with cats.

The few close enough for me to see their faces, made me amazed by the above-average appearance that looked so average among them.

Instead of focusing on the fact that I was about to die on this floor, I remembered the very beautiful man I saw on the wall of my armory and I was subconsciously biting on my lower lips.

So crazy how among such multi-colored haired humans, I saw someone who had a nice appearance and black hair, and above all, he looked partially Asian except for the colors of his eyes, it felt good to see someone who reminded me of home.

"Hey, what are you thinking about?" I heard the cat ask me as she pulled me back to the present. I really hated the fact that she succeeded in reminding me of my pathetic position, who wouldn't?

"Why did you follow me to hear?" I asked in a low whisper.

"It is important I come with you because he will be coming with his cat," the cat replied me calmly as its size increased enough to reach my knee.

"Oh, thank you," I sighed in relief. At least I will not be alone.
