After I walked back upstairs I say at my desk and pulled my art book out. I started to draw. I did it subconsciously. I started with an eye that eye turned into Emily. It didn't stop there though. I drew her surrounded by thorns, eyes watching her constantly.
After I had finished that it was almost ten at night. Then I suddenly remembered I had been awoken by my phone. I felt around my bed sure enough it had fell out my pocket when I fell asleep. I flipped it over and was greeted by a long paragraph from Emily
E- I'm so sorry about them idiots throwing water at you. You don't need that shit. I'm sorry about my behaviour today.I need you to try and understand I need a good grade and good friend's and a normal school experience. I'm sorry if that offends you. Stop following me and looking at me like I'm yours. I'm not gay. I can't be gay. I'm sorry if that's hard for you to hear but trust me and stay away from me. Thanks for understanding.
Under that it displays the message you can no longer contact this person. I quickly get off that screen or I would throw my phone. That's when I saw a message from an unknown number.
U- Stay away from my daughter you disgusting lesbian. Or else.
I quickly sat up straight in my chair, my hairs standing on edge. I just shrugged it off and out my phone on charge and went to sleep hoping for a peaceful nights sl.
That never happens though instead I dream a bout a raging storm. Inside the storm I could make out a figure trying to reach for me, the more I pushed against the wind the more I could feel my feet leaving the ground. Just when I pushed my hand through, I was pulled out my dream by my stupid alarm.
I opened my eyes not remembering anything about the dream other than it was weird. Thank God it was the weekend was my only thought. I started to pull on my jeans and a chequered shirt, i looked over to my art station. Emily's message went through my head again. I picked up my art stuff and packed it back in my bag and walked straight to the bathroom. After getting ready I walked into the kitchen to grab some toast. No one was in the house so I got my keys and locked up.
It was half ten and I have work at half eleven. I walked to the bus stop and sat down at the back with my earphones in. Once I had arrived at the bus station I walked out the main doors toward the coffee shop where I was only employed Saturday's.
When I had arrived I noticed it was very quiet, there was not a lot of customers so I walked into the back out on my apron and clocked in. There was only me and Tina on front of house and two kitchen staff. I wasn't facing the door but as soon as it opened all I heard was her voice. Laura. What was she doing here?
I quickly turned. That was a mistake. She spotted me an walked straight up to me. "Ew why did they hire you? Your liable to give people herpes". I just looked her and smiled sweetly. " What can I get for you?" She looked shocked for a moment then she smirked. " A coffee, 2 toast. Oh and you to go jump off a cliff". Then she laughed sounding like the fake bitch she is. I just ignored her last request. Once I have her order I asked Tina to take it she said she would. I walked into the managers office. " I don't feel well I'm leaving" . He barely looks up and just mutters a quick sure. I throw my apron into my locker and grab my bag from it and walk straight out the door.
I just keep walking. I was just turning a corner near a show shop when I bumped into someone. Just my luck. I tried not to look at her as I picked myself off the ground. Unsuccessfully that is. I ment green eyes. My attempt to leave completely left me. I just stood their looking at her. She eventually noticed and just shook her head and tried not to smile. Why would she smile? She turned and gestured for me to follow. Like the whipped shit I am I did just that.
We eventually turned into an alleyway. Fuck was she going to kill me? Instead she lent up against the brick wall, that allowed me to take her appearance in. She was wearing straight black jeans and a plain white top that was slightly baggy. Her cross necklace was on show. Her shoes were white converse, she looked amazing. Her hair was in a high ponytail, she still had the patch of concealer on her cheek but apart from that she was rocking the natural look.
She noticed me looking and just stood there. I finally got up the courage to talk. "So..... Why did you drag me here?". She didn't reply at first instead she looked up at the sky then back down to me. "I'm sorry about that message.... My dad is well.... super religious. He saw your pin the other day. He forbid any contact with you." I stood there in shock. He saw my pin? Oh on my bag, I have a pride pin. " So your breaking his rules now? Why would you do that? " I asked intrigued to know. "Because I can't help what I do. When I'm near you all common sense goes out the window. You make me feel like I'm important not a chess piece." I just looked at her. Probably with a goofy look on my face.
After all that was said she casually dropped the fact her dad was out of town for a bit. So I just dropped the old come stay the mine, we have a spare room card. She just nodded saying she needs clothes. So that's why I'm currently in a taxi on my way to Emily's.
Once we go there she told me to hide round the corner and to wait for her. I mean it turned out she only lives down the street from me so I quickly his behind a nearby tree. I pulled out my phone and quickly typed a message to my mum explaining everything. After I had just hit send Emily appeared as if by magic next to me. So we set off up the street towards my house on the hill.
