Chapter 23

EMPRESS SUPREME

Foreword

History is written by those who have the ability to endure, suffer, cry and be ruthless when seeking justice written in a blood-oath.

The ones who have bathed in insults and have been considered weakest at a time, left to die in solitude till their bones are rotten and flesh teared off from their bodies by vultures, those are the ones that have cruelty seeping deep down the bones, the monsters being created from the kindest of souls have the darkest of monstrosity.

Three centuries ago, the mighty Empire of Heriodonus consisted of the lands of present day Gaerin, Ambrose and Great Eastern deserts stretching from northeast whose Alpine forests were a land to the beasts of night to the far south across the frozen Silian rivers known for its black lotus and luminent pearls.

Its rulers were the Orions, the imperial lineage known for their bravery and courage, their reputation spreading far and wide, being of the ferocious warriors that heavily relied on the powers of the high priestess that worshipped the sacred river Silian.

Wars one after another have commenced for decades, first between present Ambrose and the native chieftains of Eastern deserts and later between small garrisons of the westward cities for imperial throne's support for establishing their own pawn as the emperor.

Thus at last dividing the Heriodonus into three parts currently known as the three kingdoms with tri Royal monarchy, from which none of them were capable enough to solely rule a state as strong as the ancient Heriodonus.

Many have seen the dream of uniting and achieving the century old empire which was unshakable and supreme but it came out almost impossible for the kings to obtain the trust of the age old neighboring foes thus the war between Ambrose and Gaerin commenced to establish their own power over another.

Admist of the catastrophe, the story of a small gentle lily sprouting from the demonic depths of hell is the birth of this tale. She was neither a princess nor a loved one in the royal family, she was a forgotten girl whose shadow was fading away.

This is the story of a small fragile girl that had survived the calamity by becoming the very fire that burned the entire family tree that had disappointed her and killed her hopes.

This is the story of the first female monarch in the history of the Heriodonus, of Empress Lilith Orion.
