 Not quite long after Ann has sent Nick away, Lucas regained consciousness. He rose to his feet with his gaze drawn to Bonnie and Ann who were standing at the entrance of the magical store discussing. He can barely hear what they were saying. He quickly switched on to his enhanced hearing ability. Bonnie has been away and just returned with what Ann believed to be good news. 


 Lucas couldn’t turn a deaf ear to what he just heard. He made his way to them. They were startled on seeing him sneak up on them without making a sound as he walked. “Shit!” Bonnie exclaimed. “You almost gave me a heart attack,” she said. 


Ann thought Lucas was still unconscious. She never expects him to be awake now. “Don’t you make a sound when you move?” Ann asked.
