A Friend?

It's the next day now, I'll just wait for lunch break to come. For now, I'll listen to this boring class as always. Though, ABM is an interesting class overall, it's short for Accountancy, Business and Management, I like this strand, it's just that I'm too stupid for this, and that's what makes it boring to be honest. I know nothing about this dang strand, except for the difference of Debit and Credit, that's all I know. And finally, it's lunch time, I'll follow Eunhice on where she'll go, "Godsghieft, Jemuel, I won't be eating with the both of you just for today alright?", Jemuel asked; "Eh? Why would that be?", I replied while going outside the classroom; "Nothing at all!".

I'm on my way to the canteen now, and there I see Eunhice eating all alone with her homemade lunch, what's her lunch though? Hmm... Oh! It's Rice with Egg and Hotdog on the side, I'd prefer Egg Fried Rice though, to be exact, I'd prefer Chao Fan. AND A HOMEMADE ONE THAT IS! Maybe I should teach her about it sometime, but we're not even friends so how am I able to do that?! "Hey! The line is already moving, prevent spacing out will you?" a student behing my back said to me, I replied; "Oh, I'm sorry!", This is what happens if I think with my brain that's smaller than my wiener. I ended up buying Egg Fried Rice since my all-time favourite food Pork Sisig is sold out, What a bummer! I then went to where Eunhice is eating her food, and I asked; "Um, Eunhice? Do you mind if I eat with you?" and she replied nervously; "Huh? N-not at all!", "Right, thank you" I replied while smiling, then I sat down to eat, while eating I'm keeping not to have an eye contact with her, wait... Huh... For some reason, I'm feeling nervous from head to toe. WHAT THE HECK IS THIS FEELING?! I didn't even have this kind of feeling before with my ex, but I guess it makes sense, we've only been together online and never in-real life, but the reason I'm here right now eating with her is to ask her why she doesn't have any friends, if she does have friends, then why is she going home alone? I'm here to ask that question, so man-up about it, me! "Um... Are you okay? You seem to be staring at your food" she asked, and because of that question, my nervousness level increased! Dang it. Why am I like this?! "Uh... The food is amazingly done that I can't take my eyes off of it!" I replied, and then she smiled while standing up, I noticed that she's done eating already and she's ready to go back to our class and I haven't asked her the question I want to ask, this is the only chance I got because if I ask her again tomorrow she might find me weird, so I have to ask her right now!

"Eunhice!" she got shocked and then looked back at me, "Huh? Oh um, what is it John Daniel?" she replied, then I told her; "You can just call me Daniel", she then replied; "Um, yeah, alright... Daniel". I blushed and looked down, "The reason why I asked to eat with you... is because I noticed you always eat by yourself and you always go home by yourself, you even study only by yourself! So... I just wanted to ask you if you even have friends? Because if you don't... I could be your friend." she had a surprised face while she heard me say all of that, she then sat down beside me and of course, I blushed. "Thank you" she said while looking up to the ceiling, I blushed even more! "Thank you for thinking about me Daniel, but you've got it all wrong. I do have Alexie as my friend!", I then thought to myself, Alexie, huh... So she does have a friend but why does she-, "She talks with me everytime our teachers aren't in class yet, we study together, go together at the rest room sometimes. Though you're right, I eat alone, I go home alone, but that's just because Alexie also has other things to deal with, when it's time for lunch, she goes to eat with her group of friends, and when it's time to go home she's always stays in class everyday to clean the classroom, and for the one you're saying I study alone, it's just that one time when she goes to study with her group of friends since they noticed that Alexie always studies with me, so she went to study with them" I looked at her after she said those, while looking at her, I saw her smiling while she has her eyes closed. She's really beautiful, no doubt. I apologized to her for getting the wrong idea, then she said to me; "You can be my friend!" and I was very happy to hear that from her.
