6. The Black Spider of Calamity

As Ei walks on the cleared out land while experimenting what her Human Vessel had acquired before and after the transfer to this isekai, she thought ' it appears I acquired a minor Domain of Creation from Tsukoyomi's blessing-no, more like a catalyst into forming one. The magic on the other hand, useful for teaching others but for me as a Goddess bending Reality is as common as breathing to mortals. Though it doesn't hurt to learn it I have little use for it at the present, maybe I'll just mix it with my Archery and it reminds me I have a Bow gathering dust in my storage.'

Ei stretches out her hand as a small, purple eye-shaped portal opened and grab a Bow with beautiful design yet deadly in function.

' A bow I've given to a Tengu then inherited by a man and finally to a shrine maiden, came back to me in a full circle. I will use you to the fullest this time Thundering Pulse, it seems Tomoe has yet to report to me about that matter.'

Tomoe was sent out to find dwarves, a race of demi-humans that specializes in craftsmanship in order to build proper houses and buildings needed in a City since the Highland Orcs are not dexterous enough to make finely designed buildings. Ei told Tomoe that the buildings she saw on period dramas are quite similar to the buildings on the old Inazuma City, and Tomoe agrees to use that style of architecture for the future City of this realm.

Suddenly out of nowhere Tomoe showed up while carrying a short, wounded old man in a princess carry.

"Tomoe I told you to invite them, not to kidnap them." said Ei as she rubs her temples.

" Master I rescued this guy, not kidnapped! An old acquaintance of mine is responsible for his wounded state Master."

" Mister, can you tell us who is this 'old acquaintance' she's talking about?" asked Ei as the dwarf tiredly answered her question, " The Black Spider of Calamity , a creature with an insatiable hunger that eats anything and everything. My people are simply no match against It, our greatest weapons we created are simply a snack to that Spider." as he brought out an axe, clearly well-made yet some parts are missing.

Ei looked carefully and said " Melted? No, it was eaten isn't it?" and the dwarf nods.

Tomoe suddenly said, " Master I'm sorry to interrupt but that Spider is coming, somehow it was able to 'eat' the portal outside. It is coming inside now as we speak."

"Then let it come."

"Eh?" the dwarf was dumbfounded by the confident statement of Ei.

"Lass, not to call you a fool but that's the Calamity we're talking about! Not some common monster of the Wastelands but a disaster that walks on eight legs! Miss please tell your Mistress to get away as fast as possible!" shouted by the dwarf in a hoarse voice to both Master and Subordinate.

"Hahahahahaha! You sure got some energy left in you mister dwarf. But no worries, my Master is strong enough to take care of that Spider many times over without breaking a sweat!" said Tomoe, full of confidence to her Master's strength.

(Cracks,Shatters!)

The air suddenly cracks like glass, and shatters revealing a huge black spider looking at them while drooling.

" It seems my Thundering Pulse will have a test dummy today, I'm in luck as it seems."

And Ei calmly faced the spider, the bow fully drawn with an arrow made of lightning.

(wooosh!)

(Crackles!)

(Boom!)

And the high pitch screams serves as the gong for the fight between the Raiden Shogun and the Black Spider.
