Welcome Home

Jeanohntae got discharged from the hospital within a few minutes. Christian brought Jeanohntae to their Villa; while Joseph brought Rudy to their old home to collect their things. They didn't want Jeanohntae to follow just in case Maelene happened to be there.

When they arrived at the villa, Jeanohntae was still a little shaken up from the event that took place a few minutes ago.

He held onto Jeanohntae's hand as a way to comfort her. "Let's go inside shall we!?? I'll show you around." Christian said as he looked at Jeanohntae with a small smile. All she could do was nod.

As they entered the house, Nikki was standing in the living room pacing back and forth like a worried mother waiting for them to enter. "Ooh Jeanohntae you sweet child. I heard what happened to you. I am so sorry!" Nikki ran up to Jeanohntae and pulled her into a hug.

Jeanohntae winced from the pain in her back. Nikki immediately let go of her as she just remembered Jeanohntae's wound hasn't healed. "Oh my god I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I forgot your injury has not fully healed and may have gone a little overboard with the hug." Nikki looked at the ground in regret.

"It's okay! I'm fine now." Jeanohntae tried to give a small smile while tears formed in her eyes from the pain.

"Please be careful with her. She is still in pain and in shock. Please try not to do anything that will hurt her. She needs plenty of rest." Christian looked worried. Not for Nikki, but for Jeanohntae. He was in pain just seeing Jeanohntae in that kind of situation.

"Yes of course! I am sorry. Nikki said with a sincere smile. Quickly agreeing with Christian's words. "Jeanohntae, are you hungry!?? I'll ask the kitchen staff to make you something." Nikki wanted to run away from the embarrassing situation and quickly walked into the kitchen.

Christian smiled at Jeanohntae before saying. "Let me show you around while the staff is preparing your food." Jeanohntae agreed and followed Christian around. They walked up the stairs while Christian was explaining the house. "This right here is Nikki and my dad's bedroom. Their room is at the end of the hall. The door to the left is Nellie's room. She can be a bit of a pain, but don't let it get to you." He assured Jeanohntae with a smile.

"The room to the right, across Nellie's room is my dad's study." Christian walked to the door to show Jeanohntae the study.

They walked up another flight of stairs to the 3rd floor. "Unfortunately this floor only has one room available which will be for your dad." Christian walked to the door and opened it to show Jeanohntae how her dad's room looked. Jeanohntae just stared and looked around. "The room right across is my study. You are always welcome to come inside if you need anything."

Christian walked further down the hallway and stopped. "This is the library, you can always come and read books if you want. It's open to you and uncle Rudy." Christian had a smile on his face as he opened the door. Jeanohntae's jaws dropped as she saw the shelves from floor to ceiling full of books. Jeanohntae was staring in awe. Although Christian liked seeing her face like that, they had to continue.

"This room at the very end of the hall is mine. We can share my room." Christian looked to see Jeanohntae's reaction. She looked surprised by his words. "Unfortunately, the other guest rooms are being used by the staff that stay here, so there are no other available rooms." Christian lied. There were in fact other rooms available. He just wanted to keep Jeanohntae close by. "I can sleep on the couch and you can have the bed."

Jeanohntae nodded her head in agreement when she knew there was nowhere else to sleep. Christian smiled and opened the door for them to enter. His room was a light grey color with gold trimmings. Jeanohntae walked in and spun around to look at every inch of the room. It was indeed bigger than her old room.

Christian smiled as he saw her eyes light up from how big the room was. He opened the walk in closet. "This is the closet. You can use this half of the closet for your things. The bathroom is the door right next to the closet. Upstairs, there is a music room and a recreation room."

Jeanohntae was trying to take everything in when there was a knock at the door. Jeanohntae jump a bit making Christian hold her shoulders to calm her down. "Christian, the food is ready. Come on down and eat. Your dad is home too." Nikki sounded from outside the door.

They went down to see Joseph and Rudy sitting down eating with all their things in the living room. Christian ordered the maids to bring their things to their rooms. "Put uncle Rudy's things in the bedroom right next to mine and Jeanohntae's things in my room." The maids bowed and did as instructed.

Joseph and Rudy looked at the pair with a surprised face. "Jeanohntae is gonna sleep in your room!??" Nikki sounded shocked. "Yes! There is no other rooms available. So she will be in my room." Christian said as he and Jeanohntae sat at the table.

Rudy and Joseph smiled at the thought of them sharing a room together. "What! I'm gonna be sleeping on the couch, not on the bed with her." Christian quickly defended himself from their dads.

'You know very well there is open rooms everywhere. You really don't want her to be alone huh!??' Joseph thought to himself smiling.

Looking at their happy faces. Nikki didn't want to feel like she was intruding so she quickly got up and said. "I'm gonna go and pick up Nellie from her friend's house. See you guys in a bit." Nikki smiled and left.

Joseph got up to make a toast. "To my best friend and my beautiful niece. Welcome to your new home!" Joseph started smiling so big.

"Thank you both for allowing us to stay." Jeanohntae and Joseph said in unison. Their family was now whole again.

They were all laughing and having fun at the table. 'I'm glad we are all together again.' Jeanohntae thought to herself smiling. Christian noticed her smiling and he started to smile too.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!??"
