Sweetheart

Joseph looked pale. He couldn't speak. Rudy noticed Joseph wasn't playing anymore and waved his hands in front of Joseph's face. "Hello! Earth to Joe! What's wrong!??"

Joseph looked at Rudy not knowing how to tell him that his daughter was in danger for the second time. "Rudy, Christian and Jeanohntae are trapped. At the top of the Ferris Wheel."

Rudy thought he was joking. "Haha, stop messing around and let's play!" He started laughing until he got a phone call. The Caller ID read 'My Daughter.' Rudy quickly answered. "Hello!??"

"DAD! We're trapped at the top of the Ferris Wheel." Jeanohntae yelled while crying to her father. Rudy did not know what to say. He was stunned that his daughter was facing death again. "DAD! HELP US!"

With just those three little words. Rudy ran all the way to the Ferris Wheel and Joseph followed suit. Rudy arrived and grabbed the worker by the collar. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?? YOU GET MY DAUGHTER DOWN FROM THERE OR I WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL!" Rudy spat at the guy's face.

The worker was scared. "I'm sorry sir. I'm afraid there is nothing I can do. Something is wrong with the controls.

Just then, the bolt started to loosen and the car they were on suddenly jerked like they were gonna fall. Jeanohntae screamed.

Rudy, who was down on the ground; heard his daughter's terrified screams and started to panic. His face was full of worries.

"SOMEBODY GET OUR KIDS DOWN!" Joseph yelled at the people around.

The police and rescue team were still not there yet. everyone around also started to panic as they saw the car Christian and Jeanohntae was on, sway like it was gonna fall at any minute.

Joseph called Christian on his phone. "Son, are you okay!?? What's going on over there!?? We heard Jeanohntae scream."

Christian looked over at Jeanohntae and sighed. "She's panicking. The car keeps loosening and it feels like we're gonna fall soon. She looks like she's gonna pass out. Is anyone coming to get us down!??"

Rudy grabbed the phone when he heard Christian's words. "Chris, my boy! Please keep my daughter safe. I'm begging you! Please hold on. Keep her safe." Rudy was like a waterfall of tears.

Christian didn't know how to respond. Rudy was never one to beg. "It's okay Uncle Rudy. I'll protect her with my life. I promise!" After he finished talking. They hung up.

Rudy was still panicking. "This has to be her Joe. This has to be Maelene's doing. Why is this happening to her again!?? This isn't a coincidence."

Joseph patted Rudy's shoulders and tried to calm his best friend. "It's okay. We're gonna get them back safely."

The police and rescue finally arrived. "Please! Get our kids down. They are on the very top and it seems like the car they're in is gonna fall." Joseph said while him and Rudy ran to them.

The car on the very top shook again and Jeanohntae screamed again. Everyone down below panicked in horror. "Please!" Rudy said.

The rescue team tried to find the safest way to get them. Meanwhile on the top, Christian was still trying to comfort Jeanohntae.

"Sweetheart, calm down. We're gonna be fine." Jeanohntae was still crying and hugged Christian not hearing what he called her.

"How are we gonna be okay!?? We're gonna fall to our death any minute now."

"I won't let that happen." Christian hugged her.

A few moments later, the door fell off and the car was falling. Jeanohntae started screaming again and everyone down below was also screaming. Rudy saw what was happening and closed his eyes.

Rudy slowly opened his eyes again and saw Christian hanging onto the Ferris Wheel with one hand and Jeanohntae on the other. He was panicking even more.

Christian looked to Jeanohntae in his arms. She was unconscious after she hit her head, it was bleeding. "Sh*t! Hey! Jeanohntae wake up!" Christian kept calling at her over and over, it she never woke up.

"SOMEONE GET US DOWN DAMMIT!" He yelled at the people down below.

"There's no time to think. Get a chopper up there now!" The chief police yelled.

In a few minutes, a chopper came and safely brought them to the ground where and ambulance was waiting. When they got down to the ground, Rudy and Joseph ran to them. "Chris, how is my daughter!??"

Christian scooped up Jeanohntae in a bridal style and tried to hurriedly walk to the ambulance trying not to hurt her even more. "Uncle Rudy, she hit her head."

Rudy saw blood all over Christian's shirt. He was in the verge of tears. 'Not again!" He was screaming in her heart.

Christian carried Jeanohntae all the way to the ambulance and rode with her to the hospital. Joseph and Rudy rode together in the car while Nikki and Nellie were still at the amusement park shuddering in fear because Christian almost died.
