"I challenge..." The person said. "Jin Jianyu."

"Brother, please." Wei Yue said, grabbing onto Wei Cheng's sleeve.

"I have to do this." Wei Cheng said pulling his sleeve from Wei Yue's grasp. He was slightly shocked by her reaction. Just what happened in that room?

Jin Jianyu looked at Wei Cheng and sighed. Where are all my uphill battles? Where are the angry disciples I have to defeat one by one until I can finally fight the boss?

Wei Yue watched as Jin Jianyu and Wei Cheng walked up the stairs to the large stone dueling platform standing in the center.

They both reached the center at the same time.

"Who will go first?"

"I'll put 5 that not only does Wei Cheng go first, he cripples Jin Jianyu."

As the audience began to bet, the teacher took in a deep breath.

"Begin."

However, neither moved for a long time.

"I'm not so sure." Emperor Huang said, stroking his beard.

Jin Jianyu didn't have much time to think as a dozen fists flew toward him.

"Impressive." he said, gracefully dodging each one.

"Stand still and I'll show you impressive." Wei Cheng said.

"I don't think I will!"

Jin Jianyu watched as Wei Cheng channeled his Qi into his fist preparing to launch another assault.

Each movement Wei Cheng was being imprinted into Jin Jianyu's mind. Step by step.

Just as Wei Cheng finished throwing his last punch, Jin Jianyu turned toward Wei Cheng. His Qi floated away from his feet and into his fist.

The audience was in shock.

"Mountains Peak?" Xi Yang asked out loud.

"I thought this was a special technique, seems anyone can use it now!"

"It seems General Wei hasn't been teaching his son well!"

The clan heads knew better, of course, they knew how hard it was to learn this technique. How could someone like Jin Jianyu learn this overnight? Something was off.

Just as the fist was about to connect, Wei Cheng seemed to float away.

"If you want to hit me, next time don't announce your surprise attack." Wei Cheng said.

'Tsk. But, there is something odd about the way he moves. It reminds me of Shadow Step but it's not quite the same.'

Jin Jianyu activated Martial Insight and lunged at Wei Cheng again. This time Wei Cheng was prepared. His Qi was already pooled in his feet, and his weight was properly balanced so the movement wasn't as rough as before.
