"Please you don't have to kill me. You can always send a message to my father through other means. You will only land in more trouble if you do this. And Rivendelle would be in hotter trouble. Please I am the next heir for speaking out loud".Casimir pleaded with the mysterious man trying to find reasons why he should let him go even though he didn't believe it would work.
"I don't care anything about Rivendelle. I am just here to destroy Rivendelle, and burn it down to useless ashes. I will pay Rivendelle in the same coin it did to me! And who said anything about killing you. What will I gain for killing a useless fowl like you.?"
Casimir felt a bit relieved and at the same time his eyes spontaneously widened at his words.
His head and hands hurt so bad. His stomach. He had never felt the wrath of hunger before. And he got scared everytime his stomach growled wondering if he was actually dying.
What looked like a man's feet were seen as a small window creaked open ushering light into the dark cubicle.
"Take it or leave it!" A tall fair handsome man with shoulder height long raven black hair appeared with good in his hands served on a luxurious plate. His face was covered with mask and the mask revealed a small part of his left cheek and his left eye.
"I am not hungry!" Casimir said with breaking voice as his throat had become sore and dehydrated from the lack of drinking water.
"Okay." The man said calmly and placed the food away. "You need to send a message to your father on behalf of me. And you need a lot of energy to do that!" The man said as he snapped his fingers two men arrived inside. They came in with whips and torture weapons.
Rex went out from the king's sight to for wherever Casimir had disappeared to. He went out to Casimir's favorite spot, the garden and asked the guards on duty who were heavily guarding the place, when they last saw the prince.
"We are very sorry sir, we weren't the ones assigned to guard here in the afternoon".
"If so get me the names of the ones assigned on duty this noon". Rex demanded and patiently awaited for the names of the guards. Soon enough, the names were brought in with where the guards now guarded this evening. Rex walked to the main entrance of the palace and met one of the guards who guarded the garden close to where Casimir was sitting in the afternoon.
"Hey you! You were present when Prince Casimir strolled the garden. Yes?" Rex asked.
"Yes sir, I did".
"But did you see when he left or any idea about his whereabouts?" Rex asked him taking notes of the details of information squealed at him.
"I did not see when the prince left, Sir!" He couldn't fathom how a person could ran out of a place without being seen.
'Or could it have been that he eloped with his secret lover?' Rex thought and searched on. He left to the next guard and he also replied the same way the first one did.
It was already evening and Rex only had few hours to finding the king's son.He had already trailed and explored places expected of where Casimir as a prince could be found but he found no one.
News began to spread like wild fire that the prince had been murdered by that man. He was taking his revenge already. Fear had taken control over king Labhrainn's heart like a driver does a car.
He was sweating profusely in fear losing his only son. He feared what could happen next. Rex entered shortly and gave the bad news that he couldn't find traces of Casimir. The two princesses were scared for their brother and they offered prayers for him.
Their mother grew sick with fear.
Anastasia could not sleep at night. Her brains were in shambles because of her brother's case. She went out to take a breather and five guards followed her around. They realized they were taking their job far too simple. This time the place would be heavily guarded than ever seen or heard of in the history of Rivendelle.
"Please can you people give me some space?" She asked.
They acted like she was a fly making buzzing sounds in their ears. They ignored her.
"Please I need to be alone. Fine, you want it the hard way? I order three of you to leave!"
"We were ordered by your father to never let our guards down especially on you and your sister!"
She continued walking cooking up some plans to excuse herself from them. She went close to a shrub and fell inside. They became alarmed and followed her in but she had disappeared. Anastasia came out of her hiding place and scurried off further from the alarmed guards. As she walked through, she heard the sound of some one groaning in pain. She went closer to the direction of the sound and she saw someone lying on the ground groaning in pain.
She went closer to the figure and noticed it was the cause of the worry of the whole Rivendelle. Casimir! Her brother had being beaten into pulp and was almost unrecognizable.
"Casimir?" She ran to catch the attention of the guards. The guards saw her running towards them and they ceased her by the arms. They had been looking for this stubborn cat for too long.
"Wait! Put me down! I want to tell you something! Put me down please! Ca....MY BROTHER!!!!" They stopped at the mention of her brother. "He is over there scumbags! Go get him!" They rushed off to the direction she pointed to and got Casimir out of there.

In Casimir's room.
King Labhrainn, his wife and two kids were present with the servants treating his wounds.
He was in closed eyes and what now occupied the king's mind was no more his son's absence from the palace. It was the letter attached to his son.
