In the Hakurei Shrine
Marisa and Reimu can be seen under the kotatsu while Kusa is on the table drinking Tea
Marisa: why does the winter take too long to fade?
Reimu: I don't know why, but it seems it's an incident
*knock* *knock*
Reimu: come in...
The door is opened and A silver-haired maid can be seen entering
Kusa: Sakuya?
Sakuya: the Mistress seems troubled by the cold and caught one when she and her younger sister playing together in the snow
Sakuya: she wished me to investigate the cause, so I need some help
Marisa springs up and she becomes energised
Marisa: I'll help! Being snow for a long time caused trouble for me
Reimu tries to remove herself from the warm kotatsu
Reimu: as a shrine maiden I'll naturally help
Sakuya: I appreciate it
Marisa: What are we waiting for?! Let's go!!!
Marisa grabs Kusa and her broom and she started to fly
Meanwhile, Sakuya and Reimu looks at each other then fly catching up to Marisa
They fly towards the source of the incident when a small ice bullet stops them
Cirno: I just want to say hello... you can continue in your way now
Kusa: Hmm? That's rare...
Cirno: everyone is already used by the cold so my pranks never bothered anyone I think you are going to solve this issue so...
Cirno: I let you go
Reimu: okay?
They've passed by Cirno without a battle
Kusa: do you know where the source of disturbance is
The surrounding fills with silence
Kusa: so you don't know... figures
Marisa: isn't that supposed to be investigated is?
Marisa: finding the source without any lead
Kusa: That's a very useless investigation
Reimu: Don't worry we could bump into the perpetrator

They fly around when a snowball almost hit Reimu
Reimu: Who is there?!
A girl has appeared
She has Lavender eyes and curly lavender hair. Wears a blue and white dress, with a golden lapel resembling the alchemical symbol for silver. Also wears a white cap and a nearly transparent cape. Has white lipstick.
Kusa: Letty Whiterock a Yuki-onna
Letty: Kusa!!! Do you think I will forget what happened last winter?!!
Marisa: What did you do to her?
Kusa: she entered my trapped and I forcefully fed her some chilli because I'm curious if she will melt
Reimu: maybe she is the perpetrator behind the incident!
Sakuya: I see... then make the winter fade or else
Sakuya have knives in her hands
Letty: Wait!!! I'm not the one that is responsible for this incident!
Kusa: I think you guys should beat her just in case
Letty: KUSA!!! you'll pay for this!!!
▪︎Kusa is happily basking in the sun in wintertime when a snowball hits her she didn't see anyone so she continues to bask but often gets hit by snowball so she is mad and use the plants to search for the perpetrator and she captured Letty... they always go back and forth at ticking each other off▪︎

Marisa is amused by Kusa's childishness and she rubs Kusa's head

They seem trapped in a fog
Reimu: where are we?
Marisa: this seems rare...

The has Dark orange eyes, brown hair, wears a green mob cap. Has cat ears, with a gold earring in the left one, and two tails. Wears a red and light pink outfit with gold trimming. Has long red fingernails.
Reimu: Isn't that the shikigami of Ran?
Sakuya: it seems we intrude on their territory
Chen started to attack them but roots pin her down easily
Chen: ugh... I can't move...
Kusa: sorry about that but we are in a hurry so... sorry to intrude
They left leaving Chen still tangled in the roots

Soon the four bumped into Alice

Reimu won so they continued to go to the location where Alice pointed

Kusa can be seen sleeping peacefully

Marisa is flustered that she raised her voice

They continued their flight when suddenly they've met with dense bullets of flowers
The girl has Green eyes, long blond hair, has a pair of white feathered wings. her hat and dress are white, with a red wave pattern outlining the edges
They dodge the bullets that are coming towards them
Then the girl leaves without saying anything
Reimu: what did just happened?
Marisa: I don't know...
Sakuya: I'm not sure either
Kusa wakes up
Kusa: *yawns* she is Lily White the herald of spring
Kusa: She likes to throw bullets when she announces that spring is coming
Reimu: Why though?
Kusa: I don't know the exact reason...
Marisa: just like Reimu
Reimu: Huh?! I'm not that unreasonable!
Sakuya: now that you've mentioned it it's quite true...
Reimu: Shut Up!

Sakuya: it seems that is the entrance
An invisible ripple can be seen while another ghost appears but Reimu attacked the ghost making it disappear
Reimu: it's freezing out her let's hurry and go
They go inside the invisible ripple
They arrived in a place where the surroundings are spring and have cherry blossoms everywhere
Marisa: it seems it's confirmed that they are the one that is behind the long winter
Sakuya: let not waste time and immediately goes towards the source
Reimu: Yeah
The group encounter three girls with instruments
The Girl is holding a trumpet, keyboard, and Violin respectively
Lyrica: it seems they are here to stop our concert
Merlin: what do you guys need?
Reimu: we are just taking back the thing they stole from us
Merlin: I'm afraid we can't allow that because our concert will be held if the requester is successful
Lunasa: it seems we need to drive you all out
Sakuya: Reimu you'll take the red-dressed one and Marisa you'll take the black-dressed one
Reimu/Marisa: Yes!
Meanwhile, Kusa is closing her eyes because the information she got is so much that it takes time to process...

The group continues to fly after they beat the Prismriver sisters
When they meet a girl that has dark blue eyes and short silver hair and carries a katana with a cherry blossom insignia and flower attached and a wakizashi (short Japanese sword). She wears a dark green and white dress with several ghost insignias along the edges and breast pocket, a black ribbon placed off-centre on her hair and white stockings with black Mary Jane shoes
Youmu: Stop!
Sakuya: you two go ahead... I'll take care of her
The two agreed but when the silver-haired girl tries to draw her sword a knife appeared in her and she was forced to parry it making Marisa and Reimu goes ahead
Youmu: I hope Mistress won't lecture me for this
Sakuya: don't worry about it Youmu just tell her I battled you
Youmu: battling you isn't easy at all!!
Sakuya: don't be like that
Sakuya has six knives appear between her fingers
Sakuya: you can't say no until you've reached the end
Youmu: that makes no sense at all!!

Marisa and Reimu arrive in front of the Giant Tree
In front of them is a girl that has Maroon eyes, short wavy pink hair, normally surrounded by several small formless ghosts, one carrying a cherry blossom twig. Wears a light blue and white kimono with dark blue trim, and a blue mob cap on the front of which is a hitaikakushi with a red ghost insignia.

Reimu: Can you give the spring essence back?
Yuyuko: later until I used it
Marisa: Kusa what are you doing?!
Kusa can be seen in the ground near the tree
Kusa: nothing... this tree just challenge me into a duel so I will give it one
Yuyuko: Wait!
Kusa dissapears and suddenly Vines creeps out in the ground surrounding the giant Tree
It wrapped the tree violently until cracks can be heard
Every nook and cranny of the tree is filled with Green
Yuyuko, Reimu, and Marisa have dumbfounded expressions
Yuyuko: the tree is supposed to be powerful even its being sealed yet she easily destroyed it easily
Kusa appears and the Vines retracts under the ground leaving the severely destroyed tree
Kusa approach the tree and touched it, emitting a green glow the tree become revitalised and bloomed beautifully
Kusa: it's very aggressive but I beat it up so badly that it become very docile
Kusa: I gave it a second chance and now it become my subordinate
Kusa gathers every spring essence that is under the tree
Kusa: I collected all the spring essence let's go home now...
Kusa looks at Yuyuko
Kusa: I won't tell you what is under it, you can ask your friend
Kusa: Let's go home
Kusa jumps towards Marisa's lap
Marisa: this happened so fast that it's confusing...
Reimu: I guess it can't be helped let's go!
Yuyuko: Wait Reimu
Reimu: Hmm?
Yuyuko: the boundary between life and death is loosened by Yukari because I requested it you can tell her that you want to fix it
Reimu: okay!
Sakuya appeared
Sakuya: it's finished?
Marisa: yup! It's all thanks to Kusa
Reimu: But we need to convince Yukari to fix the boundary...
All of them sighs deeply
Kusa: I think you can go towards where the cat yokai we fought earlier, that seems where her house is
Marisa: you're not coming with us Kusa?
Kusa: Nope I just want to rest and process the things that happened
Marisa: Okay... you should just come down when we exit the nether
Kusa: fine by me
Yuyuko: Bye-Bye!
The four people left leaving Yuyuko admiring the giant cherry blossom
Youmu: I'm back...
Yuyuko: welcome back-
Yuyuko: Why are you struggling to stand up?
Youmu: Sakuya is very harsh...

A knife appears and embeds on Yuyuko's fan
