The Fate of the Cursed Alpha Female

As much as she wanted to give her mother time to absorb that her two best friends knew vital information and didn't tell her, Cassie couldn't. Time was something Cassie didn't have on her side.

Unlike when she talked to the pack, this was different. There was no time for slow chats.

Luna River has to get on board as soon as possible.

Cassie watched as her mother paced, she knew her mother was in a very bad situation. She just discovered her best friends kept important information from her for the past few days. Yes, they have all been busy, but Luna River wished Livia and Ruby had told her what happened with Asher.

She stopped pacing and Cassie inhaled deeply, thinking, "finally."

Alpha Rowan stayed put, he couldn't believe that he too, was not aware of the situation. But at least for him, he was sitting so Cassie had no problem with him. He had long ago forgone the idea of asking his mate to take a seat.
