The Fate of the Cursed Alpha Female

Was it love? Mate? A legit connection? Perhaps obsession?

It was surprising that went through the minds of those who knew about Asher and Cassie's abrupt bond.

Cassie was aware that everyone was waiting and yet she couldn't bring herself to speak. Her eyes darted around the room as she searched for one person, Asher Fay. She couldn't help but wonder whether Asher had done what he said he would.

She turned to her mother and sent her a message, (mom, what exactly did you do to Asher?)
