The Fate of the Cursed Alpha Female

"I can't believe the first time I get to talk and meet aunt Krista is over the phone. I didn't even ask her how she was doing, how my cousins are doing, and  if she knows my name. I always had a plan. Why did it have to be that way?"

Luna River said nothing. She stared at Cassie as she continued to ramble about her aunt.

Time has passed, it was her first time. Luna River didn't think it was her fault her daughter never met her sister. She stared at Lisa who listened intently as Cassie continued her rambles. A smile broke on her face, she adored their friendship.

She had not talked to Livia and Ruby yet but when she does, she assured herself she should remind them of the friendship between their daughters, and also the friendship between their mates. And then she would finish by telling them, "What a shame!"

"She is not with us," Lisa commented.
