The court of elders (Pre- adventure 2)

I was in court.

This ruse of me pretending to be their king could not go well and as of the moment I needed to get out of the water to breathe fresh air.

Six elders were seated in front of me while I was standing, or should I say floating.

They had a mystical feeling around them and it seemed there was a higher rank even above them

Me.

I could see it in their gazes and Bn nervous chuckles. I had hoped they say my cooperated display of light by the deep.

The elder in the silver chair spoke first.

"We can't just believe you are our king, after all our king was missing for millennials"

I nodded.

The one sitting on the bronze chair continued.

*We need metal proof*

Her voice was like a siren.

The man sitting on the golden chair sighed before carrying on with another.

And the last one to speak said

"We need to test your worth as your lineage seems solid, however, you would be competing with Ayana who I am sure you have met"

But maybe I was wrong.

"You have a month"

I sighed.

This ruse was getting harder to keep up.

But now it will be even harder with Ayana keeping a close eye on me.

I swan away to a place unknown to them and breathed in a fresh gulp of air.

Then I realized I couldn't breathe.

After ducking my head into the water I received a notification.

[You have unsuccessfully tried to breathe in air, You would need to complete the quest ' I am King' to break this barrier, after all, what's a reward without a challenge]

I was now convinced that the Angels were sending me this message.

They are probably not limited to this world.

If they brought back Alan then some other miracles should be possible.

I need to complete this quest fast.

And just when I was thinking life couldn't get any harder.
