General Zhan stood in front of the emperor with his head bent low as water rushing from the fountain outside resounded across the silent atmosphere in the emperor's study. He couldn't endure it anymore and knelt down and said. "Your Majesty, please allow me to see my daughter!'

Yi Wenkui sighed and closed his book that he was reading before he looked at the general, his eyebrows crunched in frustration. "I have already told you that it's not possible right now. My grandmother has put her under house arrest, no one is allowed to see her."
