When the Noble Consort reached the emperor's study and entered into his study alone, Xue Li stood outside to watch the area alone in the night until she suddenly sensed an unfamiliar presence behind her so she struck out her hand but she was easily countered as the unknown person came out under the moonlight. She gasped in surprise and said. "Dai Jie!"

The Commander of the Dark Raven Guards and the emperor's shadow bodyguard quietly removed his mask to reveal his handsome face shining in the dark. He took advantage of her starstruck eyes and replied. "Miss Xue Li, long time no see."

Xue Li regained her senses after hearing him call her name and her eyes landed on his dark blue robe which reminded her of his identity that she feared the most so she took a step back. "A-Are you here to guard t-the emperor?"
