Chapter 17

Everyone was staring up at scarlet, confused on why she's here. Then bumblebee straightened up.

" She must be here to kill Blaze" Bumblebee said.

" Why would I do that? Blaze isn't my enemy. If anyone, it's Fracture... That backstabber almost tried to kill me... But right now I'm here for something else. " Scarlet lept into the air, and slammed into Rubyrose.

" What do you want with me? " Rubyrose said.

" I need you to bring me the breath of evil. " Scarlet said.

The dragnets, Peril, and Kestrel were confused, but everyone else were afraid.

" You won't be able to, Scarlet. The Breath of evil does not exist on this continent. " Bumblebee said.

" Even if we could find some, I would never let YOU get a talon on the breath of evil. " Rubyrose said.

" Alright... I see how it is. Then I will live past my life and find it myself. " Scarlet said

" By that time, it'll be used up. " Snowflake added.

" Then I will go back... Find the plant myself... steal it from that queen bee... and I will use it. Even if I have to break the laws of time and space, and kill every last one of the Hive wings... I will get what I want, however I want. " Scarlet ordered.

Suddenly, there was the smell of smoke and fire. Scarlet screamed and ran out. She was lucky to get her tail UN-cooked, but Peril was still near. Peril and Rubyrose climbed up onto Scarlet. Rubyrose fired venom into both of Scarlet's eyes, while Peril burned most of Scarlet. Peril clung to Scarlet's head, and Scarlet's head began to melt. Scarlet's head soon became too unstable and fell off. The queen's body fell onto the icy floor out side of the Palace. Rubyrose and Peril helped to cover Scarlet up. The two stepped back inside.

" What was that about? And what's a 'breath of evil' ? " Blaze asked

" The breath of evil is a plant, when used a certain way, can make one queen make anyone their slave. I have seen it in action when I was young. I was lucky to avoid it's effects. " Bumblebee responded.

" Interesting. So you said it was not on this continent? I never thought there would be another continent. " Blaze said.

Suddenly, Blaze was stabbed in the back. She fell on the floor in front of everyone. Fracture revealed herself onto her throne and slithered in front of the heroes.

" So... Two queens fell in the same palace. Now with the three queens dead, I will rule all of Pyrrha. All I need is the eye of Onyx. " Fracture said.

Suddenly, Morroseer bust into the palace

" Fracture, what have you done? "

" What I had to do. "

" WE HAD DEAL- "

" THE DEAL'S OFF, MORROSEER!!! Now, to being my reign"

Fracture flew off, and toward the secret exit. Morroseer drooped his wings down. Then raised then back up.

" Your all failures. Every single one of you has failed your purpose. " Morroseer said.

" We can still choose a sand wing... There's bound to be some one who can - " Kestrel tried to respond, but was interrupted by Morroseer.

" NO!!! The talon's of peace is dead. Burn was supposed to be the sand wing queen, and you failed to save ALL THREE!!! "

Morroseer flew off, away from them. Rubyrose gave Bumblebee back the book of history.

" How dare he tell us how to live our life! " Glory said.

" Now what... What's the point if we can't even pick a sand wing. " Peril said.

Snowflake looked at the broken time bracelet and knew exactly what to do. She put her hand on it and whispered " I give this band the ability to travel through time. " And just like that, she was gone.
