Once the battle was over, everyone returned back to the mansion. Arthur and Kenji sat opposite each other in the living room in silence while Hisako took her leave. Richard was sent out to survey the grounds with the mansion's security team for any signs of the enemy. All of the Titans were summoned to the living room, along with Terry.
"So," said Arthur, breaking the silence. "Would you mind explaining why the kids you adopted possess superhuman abilities?"
"Magic?" offered Kenji with a shrug.
"Don't give me that crap!" shouted Arthur lividly. "They're genetic experiments aren't they?"
"That's not exactly correct," Kenji answered truthfully. "They're normal humans, or rather they used to be before being subjected to experimentation."
"Just what are you planning?" Arthur asked the doctor suspiciously.
"Have you heard of Project Titan?" Kenji asked the agent.
The agent closed his eyes in thought. Upon opening them back up, he said, "That's the project proposed by Justitia ten years ago concerning the creation of a team of specially trained agents to fight crime."
"Correct!" announced Kenji, pointing his finger at the agent in a gesture of triumph. "Justitia had proposed the creation of a team of specially trained agents to the Japanese government and the public. However, never in their proposal did they reveal that the "specially trained agents" were actually genetically-altered humans."
"So these kids are the Titans, then," Arthur concluded with a sigh. "The ones subjected to those inhuman experiments for the "good of mankind"."
"Yes," Kenji answered with a nod. "I managed to wrestle them away from the agency as per the conditions of my mentor's will. I am now their official guardian and caretaker."
"What side are you on?" Arthur asked the doctor with a glare. "I'm starting to have second thoughts about trusting a man like you."
"I'm not the only liar in the room," Kenji revealed with a mischievous grin.
"What do you mean?" Arthur asked him suspiciously.
"During the same time as Justitia's proposal, there was an Italian agency by the name of Fortuna who aimed to do the exact same thing," explained Kenji. "Unlike Justitia, however, their genetic experiments only utilized one person. In order to carry out their plans, they created clones of said person and performed the experiments on the clones while they were still embryos. Then, they artificially grew the embryos until they became of a viable biological age capable for training. I would say about five or six years old. Fortuna then organized a showcase for their new products and invited only interested governments, military groups, and intelligence agencies. What they didn't count on, though, was that their inhuman methods to create such powerful soldiers would get leaked to the United Nations. They were promptly shut down and the clones were taken into custody by a certain American agency." He glanced at Arthur and noticed the agent jerking back at the gaze. "The project administered by Fortuna was called Project Nine. And if I remember correctly, the American agency still has custody over the clones." With a childish grin that said 'got you!', he added, "Would you know anything about that, agent?"
"What are you talking about?" Arthur said dismissively.
"You are the agent currently tasked with being the guardian of the those clones, correct?" Kenji asked with an arrogant smile.
The agent's face suddenly turned pale. The corner of his lips were twitching and beads of sweat formed on his forehead. Seeing as there was no way to get out of this rabbit hole of accusations, Arthur heaved out a heavy sigh and said, "How did you know?"
Kenji, genuinely surprised by the agent's answer, quickly said, "So I was right? Well what do you know! Even I surprise myself sometimes!"
Arthur couldn't believe it. He was speechless and could only let out short grunts. 'So it was all just suppositions after all,' he thought to himself in defeat. The Titans and the two sisters also couldn't believe that the doctor was right on the money even though he revealed just then that it was all just theoretical. Arthur cleared his throat and said, "Amazing deduction skills as ever. So, how did you know?"
"Well, I assume you know of my recent past with Justitia," Kenji said. Arthur nodded in answer. "After hearing of Fortuna's exposure, Justitia was able to acquire files and documents related to their experiments through less-than-legal channels. There are three reasons why Justitia is more successful than Fortuna. One, Justitia is very good at keeping their plans a secret from the public and the prying eyes of the law. They only tell the public and the government what they want to hear without going into detail. This allows them to act in whatever way they want without suspicion. Two, they keep a tight rein over any and all information entering and exiting the agency. Their members are subject to stringent guidelines to prevent leaks and the agency exercises brutal methods of discipline to enforce said guidelines. Three, Justitia presents itself as a trusted business by engaging in public appearances to provide a clever cover for their true goals. Thus, by alleviating any worries that might be arising from the public or the government, Justitia can easily circumvent the bureaucracy of life and trudge on forward with whatever dastardly plan they want without opposition."
"They are truly a scary bunch," agreed Arthur.
"As for how I knew about your position as guardian of the clones under the American agency's custody, that was all theory to be honest. I was genuinely surprised when I got it right," admitted Kenji sheepishly. "But it seemed to make sense at the time for two reasons. One, the American agency is still in possession of the clones. Two, the only reason why you of all people would get attacked besides being a member of the agency and being one of your agency's top agents would be that you are the appointed guardian for the clones. It would make sense that whoever targeted you really wanted to kidnap the clones under your guardianship."
"Makes sense," agreed Arthur with a sigh, remembering how the enemy they had faced earlier in the backyard had captured Erica.
"To be honest, I hadn't planned on revealing the Titans' identities to you until a later time," Kenji told Arthur.
"Me too," Arthur said, referring to his daughters.
"Now, I think we should discuss who our enemy was and what organization they work for," suggested Kenji.
"The only thing we know is that he has a chin tattoo, black lips, and is obviously a genetically-altered human," recounted Arthur.
"Um, if I may," interjected Airi.
"Yes, dear?" said Kenji.
"I analyzed the chemical composition of the green gas he emits from his mouth," she told them. "It has a high concentration of hydrochloric acid."
"I see," said Kenji with a nod. He then got up and stretched. "Well, I'm tired now. Guess I'll go to sleep!"
"Hey, are we really done for today?" asked Arthur in disbelief.
"I say we should sleep on it," Kenji told the agent. Kenji left the living room and headed straight for bed. After a few minutes of thinking to himself, Arthur too left for bed. This left the Titans and the two sisters as the only people left in the living room.
Shun turned to Terry and asked, "Can you ask your sister if she was okay?"
"She's fine," Terry replied.
"Why was that weirdo after Erica in the first place?" Hanzo wondered in irritation.
"According to what we heard, Erica and Terry must be genetically-altered humans like us. They must possess some sort of power the enemy wants," answered Airi.
"Probably," agreed Shun.
"But how did they know that she was staying here?" asked Kota.
"These are dangerous people," answered Shun darkly. "People like this have their methods of tracking down their enemies." The image of the black crown chin tattoo flashed through his mind. What was the meaning behind that symbol, Shun wondered. Could it be a clue as to what organization that man was working for? He turned to Terry and asked, "Do have any idea why Erica was targeted?"
"There are many people after us," Terry answered with a sad smile.
Shun noticed the sadness in her eyes and decided to leave it at that. Without a word, everyone solemnly left the living room and shifted their focus to their everyday activities. But even with distractions, one question still weighed on everyone's mind: "Who was after them?"
In a warehouse somewhere in Tokyo, a mysterious group of teenagers had established the building as their base of operations. They were affiliated with a shadowy organization whose identity remains to be revealed soon. One of the members had just returned back—it was the same mystery man who attacked the Titans back at the mansion. He was a tall boy with unkept spiky white hair and pale blue eyes. He had his mask over his mouth and walked slouchingly to the center of the warehouse where his leader awaited him. On his face was the expression of a man who was done with life.
"I assume you've failed?" asked his leader darkly upon his arrival. The leader was a short teenage boy with curtained black hair and silver highlights, shiny black eyes, and a beautiful ghostly complexion. He was dressed in a slick leather jacket and skinny black jeans. Underneath his hair was a black tattoo of a skull. Despite his rather small stature, he reeked of authority and power.
The boy answered with a nod. He wasn't a big speaker.
"But I also suspect that your mission has provided you with insightful information?" his leader continued. Again, the boy nodded in answer. "Even if we've failed in our mission to capture the girl, we were able to gain even more valuable information about our enemies. Things just got more interesting."
Besides the leader, two of their other members were also present. "How strong were your enemies?" asked another one of their members. The boy turned to the member and conveyed the answer through his steel gaze and grim expression. "Oh, wow! That strong? I can't wait to fight them myself!" This other member was another teenage boy. He had bright orange hair, luminescent amber eyes, and a friendly smile that did well to hide his true intentions from surfacing. He was dressed in a bright red tuxedo with a silver tie and white gloves. On his right cheek was a red tattoo of a sword.
"Our time will come," said their leader. "We must follow the plan put in place by HQ."
"I still don't see why HQ needs the girl," said another member dismissively. She was the only female member of the group. The girl was taller than the leader by a few centimeters, but still shorter than the other two. She had wavy purplish-platinum hair that flowed down her back, mysteriously enticing violet eyes, and a cute button nose like a doll's. She was dressed in a black and silver blouse and a frilly skirt, black knee socks, and black boots. On her left cheek was a silver tattoo of a scale.
"Not just her," the leader corrected. "They need all of them. But in order to trap your enemies, you would first need bait. And what's better bait than those who are close to you?"
"I guess that makes sense," she replied with a sigh.
"What about the Titans?" asked the second member. "Where do they fit in in the plan?"
"It's still too early to tell," their leader answered. Then, in a sinister voice, he added, "We'll soon meet them face-to-face in the coming battle."
Three days had passed since the incident. Arthur and his daughters had already left for America the day before. It appeared that both Kenji and Arthur had come to some sort of agreement regarding their previous arrangement. At school, the last day of the school week before the weekend, the Titans went about their "normal" student lives. Hina and Kota had made a few good friends and seemed to be getting a hang on how school works. Hanzo solidified his friendship with Shiro through their shared appreciation for the book series: 'Living Life as a Savior of Another World'. Mari, despite her aloofness and cold personality, gradually became somewhat more open with Ai. Ryo began to talk more with Akira and the two of them bonded over their shared interest in music. Kaito and Fujiro became quite close and traded "men secrets". Hiro and Hana easily opened up to their classmates and were pros at making quick friends, despite their previous isolation from society, as the other students were quite drawn to their friendly characters. Nao was also quick to join a clique of fellow hyperactive cheerful high school girls. Rei was approached by many girls who sought her friendship, and because of her shy and flighty nature, she was quick to buckle under the pressure and accepted their friendship amidst bundles of apologies. Shun talked more with Yosuke and began to loosen up his previous apprehensiveness against strangers. Airi was also slowly talking more with others, but she was still careful to not let her guard down and kept others at a distance.
"Hey, Hanzo, wanna come with me tomorrow to go check out this new figurine of Beast King Kemono-sama? It's a limited edition ruby-pastel coated Kemono-sama with a real glass Sword of Diana!" Shiro gushed giddily.
"Of course I'm going!" Hanzo quickly accepted. "I'm definitely not gonna miss something like that!"
"Then where do you want to meet up?" asked Shiro.
"Hmm," wondered Hanzo. "Do you know where the Kinoshita residence is?"
"You mean that big mansion fifteen minutes away from here?" Shiro asked in surprise.
"Yup, that's the one," nodded Hanzo. "Since you know where it is, then how about meeting up in front of the gate? It's only a thirty minute walk from the city."
Shiro thought for a moment about the plan. The thought of just showing up in front of the gates of one of the city's wealthiest residents is just too scary for him to imagine. He didn't know what to expect. But, seeing as how this might be the only way for him to meet up with his newfound friend, he decided to take his chance. "Sure thing!" he agreed.
After school had ended, the Titans arrived home to find Kenji and Richard waiting for him in front of the stairs. The doctor had a huge smile on his face that unsettled the Titans greatly. Richard remained stoic as ever. With a gulp, Kaito spoke up and asked, "What's the occasion?"
"We got a surprise for you all!" sang the doctor. "Richard, if you please." The butler bowed and left for the living room. He came back with a silver cart and tray. He opened the tray and revealed two rows of six cellphones of different colors. "As a present for you all to get well acquainted with modern society and truly experience the life of a high school student, I bought you all cellphones!" announced the doctor. "They're all the latest model of the APhone. Fitted with three 36 megapixel cameras, 5G wireless connection, an app store with more than one-thousand apps, multitasking capabilities, and a HD screen display with a resolution of 1280 x 1080 pixels, this model is the best cellphone on the market! Of course only the top fifteen percent of the world's population can really afford the phone with all the fixings."
The Titans were speechless. They didn't know what to say or how to express the mixture of emotions boiling inside of them: happiness, gratitude, surprise, curiosity, uncertainty, appreciation. They remained still, unable to move, unable to correctly respond to the situation at hand.
"You all can have your pick of what color you want! Of course the real phone only comes in a few colors, but I made some requests to have them all in twelve different colors for convenience," Kenji explained. With a cheeky smile, he added, "It's good to have friends in high places, hehe!"
And so, without further ado, the Titans stepped up and chose their cellphones. Hana took the light green one and Hanzo accepted the amber brown one. Hina's was golden yellow and Kota settled on the dark black one. Ryo took silver blue and Rei timidly took the light blue phone. Mari grabbed the navy blue one and Kaito went for the scarlet orange one. Hiro got the metallic grey phone and Nao happily accepted the bright pink one. Airi took the purple phone and Shun took the white one.
Once all the phones were distributed between the Titans, Kenji reached into his pocket and pulled out a metallic black phone of the same model. Richard also pulled out from inside his suit the same phone but a coffee brown color. "I couldn't resist buying matching phones too!" Kenji announced giddily. "Now we're all matching!" he declared. He turned on his phone and distributed his phone number and email with the Titans. The process was new to the Titans, who were quite surprised with how easy and slightly confusing it all was. Richard did the same and exchanged his phone number and email information with the Titans. Lastly, the Titans themselves shared their information with each other.
"Oh, doctor," called Hanzo hesitantly, "I have something to tell you." Though he was still a little apprehensive about his guardian, he knew that it was only fair for the doctor to know of the plan he made with his friend. He may be stubborn and hostile against strangers, but he was in no way irresponsible.
"What is it, son?" asked Kenji.
"I made plans with a friend to go to the city together tomorrow," Hanzo told the doctor. "He'll be coming to pick me up in front of the gate."
"Ah, of course!" Kenji said with glee. "You should enjoy your youth! And what better way than with friends? Have a good time!"
"Uh, thanks," Hanzo said slowly with a little blush. He was happy that the doctor accepted his plans for tomorrow, but he was also a little taken back by how quickly and accepting he was. There was just no way for him to discern the doctor's true feelings; whether or not the doctor genuinely believe it all to be a good idea is more ambiguous than learning what your pet is trying to tell you through gestures and calls.
"Ah, but only on one condition," the doctor told him. "For your own personal security, I recommend taking Richard with you and another one of your fellow Titans."
Hanzo thought hard about what the doctor was asking him to do. How should he explain to his friend the reason behind having Richard and another one of the Titans chaperoning them on their trip? And for sure he couldn't say, "Oh, and my butler is joining us because my guardian is trying to keep safe from this crazy agency that's searching for me. And have I introduced you to my brother/sister? The reason why this agency is after me is because my brother/sister and I are illegally genetically-altered humans with superpowers who used to work as super-soldiers for the very agency after us!" That would just raise even more questions and would no doubt ruin his very first genuine friendship with a regular human being and member of society! Everything he had work for to slowly settle into modern society would be all for naught. Not that he has totally become comfortable with how modern society works. But if he doesn't accept doctor's condition, he would more than likely have to cancel his trip tomorrow. Weighing the options carefully in his mind, Hanzo came to an answer. "Okay, I accept!" he told the doctor confidently.
"Thank you for understanding," the doctor told him kindly. "Now, you don't have to tell me who you choose to go with you, but just make sure you do so before going on your way tomorrow."
That night, Hanzo couldn't contain his excitement about the next day. He was excited to be doing something with a friend outside the Titans, he was excited to go into the city on a normal day doing normal things, and he was excited to go see the new figurine with someone who shares the same interests as him. Though he's not the most open about his feelings and the hardest to accept others, his quick friendship with Shiro came about solely because he felt a kindred spirit in the otaku. Even his own openness with the boy surprised him. Yet he was quick to dispel any sense of hostility towards Shiro whenever the boy was around. He was a like a dog who have found a new owner who he can trust wholeheartedly without a doubt. 'Maybe this is what they mean by best friend?' he thought to himself in his sleep. The idea formed a smile on his face. He couldn't wait to spend the next day with his best friend.
When the next morning came around, Hanzo got dressed and walked over to the girl's side and knocked on one of the doors. Airi opened the door and was surprised to see Hanzo standing there dressed in a regular shirt and jeans. "What are you doing here?" she asked him.
He blushed and bashfully said, "I was thinking of inviting you to come with me on my outing with my friend." He quickly added, "I'm only doing this because the doctor said it'll be safer if we travel in numbers. It's not like I can't go by myself. If it were up to me, I would definitely be going by myself. But you're only coming with me as a chaperone because of the agreement I made with the doctor, got it?"
"But why me?" Airi asked.
"I don't know!" he said in anguish. "You were the first person that came to mind."
"How about inviting Hana or Nao instead?" offered Airi. "They're more suited for society anyway," she added sadly.
"But they're not good at responding to emergencies," he mumbled under his breath.
"Huh?"
"Nothing!" Hanzo answered, crossing his arms. With an exasperated sigh, he said, "They're not good at quickly responding to emergencies like you. That's the main reason why the doctor wanted me to travel with another Titan, in case an emergency happens that requires our attention. You're the only Titan I know who's good at that sort of thing. You're fast, super strong, and very good at observing the situation to successfully deal with it in the most efficient way possible while limiting unnecessary casualties."
"I see," Airi said. She took in a breath and reluctantly made one of the biggest announcements she had had ever made in her life. "I'll go."
"Really?!" exclaimed Hanzo with childlike innocence. "Alright! Get changed and meet me outside." With childlike glee, he happily ran off to the front gate to wait for his friend. Once he was outside, he met up with Richard at the front gate.
"Good morning, young master," Richard greeted Hanzo. The butler was dressed in his usual attire with no changes at all.
A few minutes later, Airi came out of the house wearing a purple long-sleeved shirt with the cuffs folded over and a pair of dark blue jeans. Her hair was styled in the same ponytail that she always wears. Her expression was as stiff as always, yet it didn't feel as cold as it normally does. It seemed that she is at least trying to show interest for Hanzo's sake, but her self-consciousness about her perceived incapability of fitting in with society still dominates her emotions.
"Hello, young miss," Richard greeted her. "It appears that young master Hanzo has chosen you as his companion on this excursion."
"Yup," Airi answered expressionlessly.
Just then, a boy with straight black hair dressed in an anime T-shirt and faded blue jeans appeared in front of the gate. "Hanzo!" he called over the gate.
"Shiro!" Hanzo called back. Richard pushed a button on their side of the gate and the gate opened. The three residents of Kinoshita manor crossed over and joined Shiro on the other side. "I can't wait!" Hanzo told his friend exuberantly.
"Sure!" agreed Shiro with a smile. As they began their walk into the city, Shiro couldn't hold in his amazement about the estate anymore. "To think that you live in a huge mansion like that! That's crazy!" He turned to Hanzo with a huge smile and asked, "So are you like filthy rich?"
"The person I'm living with is," Hanzo answered. He furrowed his eyebrows and added with pouting lips, "Who cares about being rich anyway?"
"But with that much money, you can totally buy like all of the manga and figurines you want in the world!" Shiro told him with wide eyes. "I've heard that Kinoshita Kenji is ranked number seven among the top ten billionaires in Japan according to Forbes magazine!"
"So that's something amazing, huh?" commented Hanzo dismissively.
"Master Kenji's net worth is well over $750,000,000,000 in USD," Richard told them.
"Oh, yeah, I was wondering all this time," began Shiro, gesturing to Richard walking behind them, "who's the old dude?"
"Ahem!" coughed Richard. Shiro had unknowingly found himself walking on a landmine. Richard shot Shiro a glare that was on par with the terrifyingly petrifying powers of a gorgon. "I am Richard, the head butler of Master Kinoshita Kenji."
"The doctor said that the only way I can come with you to the city was by having this old dude chaperone me," Hanzo explained.
"Ahem!" Richard coughed again. This time, he sent chills down Hanzo's spine with the same glare, and the young Titan gulped and nodded in apology for his folly.
"And who's the girl?" Shiro asked. "Is she your sister?"
"I guess," Hanzo answered nonchalantly. "Her name's Airi and she's a year above us in school."
"Now that you said it, I do remember seeing her at school," said Shiro.
Airi didn't say a single word on the entire trip. She just stared in front of her with blank eyes and a stiff expression. They arrived in the city and marched on to the anime store that is their final destination. Suddenly, Airi's left eye, one of her cybernetic implants, began to whirl, causing the nearby nerves to ache and shooting a bolt of pain running through her head. She stopped in place and grasped her eye with beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
Richard noticed this and grabbed her shoulders. "Are you okay?" he asked her in a soft voice.
Both Hanzo and Shiro stopped and turned to see Airi panting with a pained expression on her face. "Are you okay?!" exclaimed Shiro hysterically.
"I'm…fine," managed Airi. "I just have a headache, that's all."
"You boys go on ahead," Richard told them. Hanzo and Shiro exchanged worried glances before coming to an implicit agreement and left. Richard brought Airi over to a bench on the sidewalk and sat her down gently.
In Airi's head, a vision began to emerge. Her cybernetic eye had picked up various signals and variables that were then sent to be deconstructed, analyzed, and reconstructed in her brain processor to form a computerized prediction of an event that would soon unfold. The image of a young raven haired girl dressed in a pink top, a blue frilly skirt and black leggings, appeared in her mind. Her eyes were blank, devoid of life, and her expression was vacant like an empty tomb. But the voice she called out with had an emotion attached to it that can only be described as terrified. The girl needed help. "Help me!" she cried in a soft voice. "Somebody find me!" There was desperation in her voice. The vision vanished into dust but the memory of it was still etched in her mind. The pain gradually subsided and Airi was able to catch her breath.
"Are you okay?" Richard asked her once again.
"Not exactly," Airi told him grimly. Airi's power to receive accurate computerized predictions in the form of visions is a result of her genetic alteration, namely the combined efforts of her cybernetic eye—which has the ability to scan and analyze the world around her in the form of variables and digital data, and the implanted computer chip in her brain—which possesses unrestricted access to the internet, global satellites, and other repositories of technological data as well as the processing speed of a hundred supercomputers. It is a subconscious power that is constantly in action 24/7, but is can also be used consciously by Airi herself whenever she wants to be provided with the information she needs. This time, however, it acted on its own again to show her what it perceives to be important information. She knows that whenever this happens, it means that something bigger is in play.
The boys returned with their product, but made it a priority to assess Airi's health. "Is your head okay?" Hanzo asked.
Airi simply nodded in answer.
Shiro's phone rang and he picked it up. "Okay, I'll be right there!" he said through the phone. "Sorry, but I have to head home now. My mom's gonna be late tonight, so I'm going to have to make dinner for the family."
"It's alright," Hanzo told him. "Sounds like you have something important to tend to. We'll be heading home soon too."
"Okay then, see ya!" said Shiro as he left for home with the product.
Hanzo quickly turned to Airi and asked in a dark voice, "What did you see?"
"A vision of a girl," Airi told him. "She was wearing a pink top with a blue skirt. Her eyes were blank and vacant, but the emotion was all in her voice. She was crying for help."
"Help?" wondered Hanzo, tapping his chin.
"She said—" she immediately stopped when a familiar voice reached her ear.
"Help me! Somebody find me!" cried a soft yet desperate voice. Airi, Hanzo, and Richard turned to the crying voice and found themselves face to face with a young raven haired girl dressed in a pink top and a blue skirt with black leggings. She had no expression on her face and her eyes were vacant like an empty tomb. But the emotion in her voice, the desperateness that it was filled with, the fear that permeated through each word told a different story.
"That's her," Airi whispered eerily.
Hanzo approached the girl cautiously to show her that he wasn't an enemy. "Are you okay?" he asked her in a strong yet kind voice. The girl shook her head no. "Where are your parents?" he asked her.
"Help me, please," the girl whimpered.
"How can I help you?" Hanzo asked.
"Find me," the girl replied.
"Find you?" Hanzo didn't know what the little girl meant by that. Was there maybe some hidden meaning to this message? If it wasn't for the clear fear and terror in her voice, Hanzo would've assumed that she was just messing with him and scold her for doing so. 'Where are her parents?' he wondered. Maybe she was scared because she was separated from her parents and didn't know how to communicate her problem clearly.
"Somebody, find me," the girl repeated sadly.
'No, judging by her voice, she really means what she's saying,' realized Hanzo. He held out his hand and attempted a friendly smile. "I can help you," he told the girl. The girl looked at him with a blank stare, but an aura of apprehensiveness could be sensed from her. "I'll find you," Hanzo told her confidently.
"You will find me?" the girl asked him expectantly.
"Of course," Hanzo reassured her. She took his hand and he led her to Richard and Airi. He explained the situation and the butler proposed to take her back to the mansion for now. Starting tomorrow, they will address her problem right away. They all walked back together with Hanzo holding the girl's hand and Richard and Airi bringing up the rear. All the way back, Airi couldn't help but feel a little anxious about their new houseguest. Just as her vision told her about the girl's presence, she intuitively knew that this was just the start of something bigger.
