"Where are you going, Hans?"
A glowing woman in her glamorous and sparkly wedding dress asked. She looked at her husband who is now getting ready to leave their room.
"The mayor needs his butler by this time," his husband uttered the words coldly like it doesn't affect her.
Upon hearing it, Zoe took long steps towards her husband like she doesn't want to be left by him. She even struggled in pulling her heavy dress.
"But it's our wedding day. Can you stay just for now?" Her voice was almost pleading.
She stopped a meter away from him and didn't dare to touch her husband.
He faced her indifferently and replied, "I believe the ceremony and reception are over and I have nothing to do here already."
Her mouth agape with shock. Did she heard him right? Her heart felt a sting of pain as she look into her husband's emotionless dark eyes.
"I will send someone tomorrow to pick you up and bring you home. I'll go now," he continued when Zoe remained silent.
She watched the well-built back of her groom leaving and the door closing in front of her. She felt so abandoned and ignored as a wife.
She wiped the lone tear rolling down her cheek and sighed deeply.
"And I thought I will have a happy married life with the man I adored the most," she murmured while making her way to the large bed.
She laid there, still in her gown and stared at the ceiling, thinking of the plans how she can get her husband. She smirked playfully when a naughty thought popped in her mind.
"I will make you mine, Hans Titus Donovan, my dear husband."
