Regain of Sight

Bang! She and the hamper were thrown out of the room.

Susie glanced back at Kain and decided to go back to her room for breakfast.

After that, She came to Kain's bedroom with his portion.

However, neither Kain nor the crow was in.

Susie was puzzled and was about to leave when she heard a "bang" from the bathroom.

She followed the sound and went to the bathroom, only to find Kain lying on the wet floor, with toiletries scattered all over the floor.

She walked over quickly and helped him up from the floor. "Mr. Jackson, are you taking a shower? Do you need help?"

Kain stood up and pushed her away. "Out! Don't be fake!" he snarled.

Susie soon noticed that blood was oozing from a small scratch on his left face.

Her eyes lit up. It was a rare opportunity.

Kain was holding a razor in his hand. Susie guessed the wound on his face might have been accidentally cut while he was shaving.

She licked the corner of her mouth nervously, trying to keep her voice calm, "Mr. Jackson, wait a moment, I'll get the medicine kit to help you with your wound."

She went back to her bedroom, retrieved the medicine kit, and took out a small glass bottle from the wooden box in the bedside table. The bottle was given by master Ryan.

When Susie returned to the bathroom, everything had been put back in its original place. Kain was shaving, and the wound on his face had healed.

She started to believe that the wounds on her neck were healed by Kain, a man who sucked blood, teleported, retrieved stuff in the air, healed wounds, and even kept a talking crow.

What the hell was Kain?

Susie felt her world was trembling down. She realized it's gonna take a hell of a lot more to accomplish her mission.

All of a sudden, she stiffened. Kain was staring at her with his cold white eyes. A glass jar on the vanity vibrated.

"Okay, okay, I get it! I'll let myself out! Right away!" Susie hugged her head and ran away before the jar smashed at her.

Kain sneered, raised his hand and wiped the mirror covered with water mist in front of him. His white eyes stared unblinkingly at himself in the mirror.

Gradually, his eyes turned from horrible white to attractive light green.

Within a minute, his eyes turned white again.

Kain had been able to see since he drank Susie's blood last night. It's just that his vision wasn't stable, sometimes he could see and sometimes he couldn't.

It was the first time he drank fresh human blood, so Kain couldn't figure out if it was because of human blood or Susie.

If Susie hadn't cried out for help last night, he would have sucked all her blood dry.

Kain didn't understand there were so many women sent to the castle before, why couldn't he have any resistance to only Susie's blood? He couldn't even resist the smell of her.

Whenever Susie got close to him, he would get hot all over. Every cell in his body was forcing him to forage for food, to bite her carotid artery desperately.
