Fiancée of a Childhood Friend

Sara turned her head and looked at Neil in surprise, and then scrutinized Susie.

Neil had a handsome face and a warm temperament. Compared with Kain, who always refused people thousands of miles away, he was really a gentleman. Susie thought.

But then again, Kain was the one who broke Neil's legs and the latter was now the actual ruler of the Jackson family. "I — "

"Baby, aren't you going to clean my wounds?" Kain interrupted Susie.

Everyone in the room changed their expressions when they heard Kain's words.

Susie shuddered when she heard the word "baby".

The girl next to Neil showed a shocked and upset expression.

Seeing her expression, Susie was stunned at first, and then remembered a rumor in Veks Town. It was said that when Kain was very young, his family arranged for him a beautiful fiancée, who was the only one that could freely enter the Black Wood except Kent.

Susie remembered she was the daughter of the Roberts family, but she couldn't recall her name.

"Sara, what do you think?" Neil asked.

Yes, her name was Sara Roberts.

Susie looked back at Kain and found him thinking with his head down.

Miss Roberts' eyes were red and she was looking at Kain, as if waiting for his explanation.

Susie couldn't stand the stagnant atmosphere any more and said to Neil, "Mr. Jackson, how about you two leave first? I'll catch up with you later."

Neil wrapped Sara's waist with his right hand and said softly, "Sara, let's go."

"OK."Sara replied absentmindedly.

Susie couldn't help giving Sara another look as she was so elegant and beautiful, it was rare to see such a beauty in all of Veks Town.

After they left, Susie remembered that she had forgotten to return Buck's slingshot. She slapped her forehead in frustration. Now she had to go to the villa.

Kain was sitting on the sofa, dazed in the direction of the door. He didn't even notice when Susie was sitting next to him.

She put the alcohol swab on his face, but he suddenly pushed her hand away. "Don't touch me!"

"Mr. Jackson, since you hate me so much, I'll have to ask master Ryan to send someone else to clean your wounds," Susie said coldly.

She surely couldn't guarantee what Ryan would do to Kain.

Kain looked at Susie angrily. She immediately bowed in a wary gesture. Just when she thought Kain was going to attack her, a dark shadow flashed in front of her eyes, and Kain instantly disappeared.

Susie then walked through the Black Wood to the villa and handed the slingshot to Mr. Gray.

On the way downstairs, she heard footsteps behind her, and then heard a voice, "Bad woman, don't move!"

Susie was distracted. Before she could respond, there was a sudden push on her waist. She leaned forward, stepped on the air, and was about to fall down.
