No sooner had he said those words, than the tube began to earnestly squirm on the rock face as if it had realised that the humans could see it.

"Never seen anything like it before," Archer responded as he backed away with his gun trained at it.

The creature's movements were causing pieces of the ceiling to dislodge and fall on them. All five humans backed off to a safe distance from it since a collapse seemed imminent if the creature kept up its movements.

"What do you feel, Robinson?" Ji-ho heard Ilya's voice through the comm link.

"Revolted! I only regret I don't have a bucket of salt to throw at it. So disgusting!"

"I wasn't asking about that," Ilya calmly said as he signalled with a hand for Archer to feed some bullets into it.

"Wouldn't it be better to not piss it off by attacking it?" Archer asked his uncle.
