The world has fallen to such grounds that it could never get repaired, if god had really exist why would they let us be destroyed...

My names Valarie ark An 40 year old female, i still vividly remember, i.. was not like this, my life was supposed to be peaceful, like how i'd always imagine back then, but now, what... can they, how do they, to call one is peacefull, that is peacefull, how can i tell now what is what, the peace that i could only tell is when a tide struck and mid monsters appear then after, how can some say it's peacefull when it's too quiet...

the more or strangely, quiet the place is, the more dangerous and Deadly the situation to come...will one day come, where i could, understand what was normal back then? , will there be a time again that i will play innocent to such, be naive of the world.

but those thought's and action made, me weak, those were what made me suffer, but also made me learn, cruelty, to those that i had wanted, is what had killed my innocent's

humanly dreams...

Calamity fell to this world 25 years ago, i had two friends but they were gone.

Because of calamity many plants, animals and even human started to mutate and had awaken abilities, so did i, i became a genderless human, my mutation was only about my gender and physic becoming strong but just a normally strong that surpasses a human strength, many people started to mutate to half monster, insects etc.

how i survived from having just that? , well i too dont know quite well but i will just say maybe it was just my surprisingly good luck?

Although i was happy keeping my human form i wasn't satisfied with my own strength being unable to protect someone.. so i distanced myself to everyone, for i was not strong enough to keep a friend by my side, i had no power to protect and avange..

i roamed on top of high buildings, that was barely damaged, the reason was these building were bases, enhanced by experts making the structure of the building more sturdy and stronger, but it was still raided by unbeknownst to the leader of a specific figure, i who had been traveling, nonstop i must had missed a lot of information, surely new portals opened to this world, or either new evolution were discovered, i missed it big but i would've been dead if i was greedy for more, gaining power is risky but worth it, i don't have guts so they could just go on have it all...

i had found a spot , with good view of a beautiful sunset, strangly a sunset appeared... but i didn't think much of it and continue to roam forward to the best view of the sunset.

I sat down quietly reminiced of the past events which the world was still at peace, although i could vividly remember a bit of myself, i could still, although it's quite a blurry memorry, i still remember them... i still remember those two, who had always been by my side back then...

Hour's had passed and the sky darkenned as soon as the sunset was over, the sky had suddenly turned cloudy, it had signs of strong thunder, so it's obvious to be a strong storm coming, i had stood up from my seat, patting the dust in my clothse, preparing to leave to find a good and warm shelter, as soon as i was done removing the dirt i sensed a strong killing intent, that was flying fast and straight towards me.

I tried dodging it, but i was still injured from the fight a moment ago with a monster, i had a few sconds delay dodging it resulting to still getting hit.

I was scratched by the thing that flew towards me sourended by dark aura, i fell down on the growned and my wounds opened and started to bleed a lot.

As it continue to bleed and slowly loses concious it seems like there was poison to it, i saw a tall man walking towards me and the thing that hit me was actually a sword it flew towards him and he caught it as if it was his

'I don't Remember offending someone so why...'

*Wakes up.

I opened my eyes and was laying on a bed.

long ago when calamity befall no city was be it a village none was spared from it, but strangely this place is so well maintained that i'd even assumed that am back to the past where there was still no montsers.

I got up but i noticed i was handcuff onto the bed.. but why handcuffs? im strong enough to break a thick metal...

Out of curiousity i tried setting up a barrier to protect myself if something happens while i try breaking it, but whats this?!

A magic cirlce was in a handcuffs?! and it seems to be a high level one?, i almost panicked because no normal person would ever able to do such thing, i didn't even offended anyone but why?...

A tall man wearing white formal clothes with long white hair holding a staff, he creepily gigled and said to me.

'Theres no use trying to break it, no matter the high level a skill used it won't break unless the caster permits'

He walked towards me faster and started strangling me, i don't know whatever i did to him but i don't think i've ever offended or even know him!.

I tried asking why and he replied.

'Its because of you!!, rosetta died because of YOU!! SAVING YOU USELESS!!'

R-rosetta?... I suddenly remembered the past where it was only 4 months since calamity befall on earth, in four months foods became scarce and many resorted to canabilism. i was too, eagerly searching for foods in a abandoned factory there i met a beautiful young lady with silver hair and ocean blue eyes.

She was soo skinny so even tho i was in need of foods to last i gave her some of my food and left, but she seems to follow me i let her do so and for few days we became close, we were in really need to food so we resorted to hunting wild beast since we could check if some are edible it was a the last option we made since were both super hungry.

We hunted big red horned rabits and i was pealing its skin of i was still hisitant to eat it, the little girl came forward and put her hand on top of it and sait

'Apraisal'.. its safe"

i thanked her and continue to butcher it while she prepares the fire, she also thought me which should be kept and thrown of its part.

A few hours later after we finished, eating, we decided to get inside of the house and sleep, while we were sleeping i heared, a few noises, of footsteps, i woke up the little girl and, covered her a hood that'll keep her presence for being noticed, and any noise inside won't be heared outside, i hid in a position ready to fight just incase they notice us.

A few minutes later of them searching, a big man came in and said to the other people.

'Don't you think its too quite here and we just found some a fire outside and its still smoking, it also seems a little warm like there was someone here not long ago..'

The others agreed and kept looking again, i tried looking at them to see who they were and held my breath just incase, i was schoked seeing they were those brutal cannibals that had been feard all over the country, i breathed for a second and seemed like the big guy noticed it and said.

'If you don't apear yourself then i will destroy every corner of this house just to find you!'

It was so dangerous and i had to decide quickly,

i'm already old and that girl is just a child as soon as i was about to step out the little girl showed herself first, i was shocked and was gonna run towards her but because of how scared i was i couldn't move i was trembling so much.

*The little girl sended me a message telepathically.

'Please stay where you are.. let me repay you this once, you don't blame yourself big sis.. im only a little girl i can't live in this kind of cruel world anymore no matter how i try to get used to it.. or try surviving.. i really cant take it i like to live peacefully not running away, i want a life with my family but they too, were gone, i tried holding on ever since i met you so... so please, please live instead big sis.. and my name Rosetta flaur..

The big guy pulled her hair and dragged her outside, and soon as he steped outside he threw rosetta mid air and the guys from before caught her and shreaded her from limb to limb and ate her raw.

I cried hearing rosetta scream from the pain of being shreded and eatin alive, i blamed myself from being a coward and weak, even though i could have faught them they were still too many for me to handle.

I fell asleep crying as soon as i woke up it was already morning, i walked myself slowly out of the house trembling as soon as i got out of the door, i witnessed such a cruel and brutal scene rossettas head was hanging in pole stick, her bones were everywhere so where her blood,

I fell down on my knees and started puking.

A few hours passed and i calmed myself down, i calmly picked up all her bones and got her head off the pole stick, i made her a proper burial before leaving because they might comeback...

we... were together for a short while.. thank you... i'll live for you..

these memories are what chained me to this world, no matter how i wanted to die, this memories haunts me, and kept me alive for so many years...

i asked the man who was he even to her, and he replied.

'I'M HER BROTHER AND YOU!, BECAUSE OF YOU SHE DIED!'.

As those words came out of his mouth Tears streamed down falling onto my face. He must've searched for her for a very long time.

i looked around the room and saw Teddy bears and princessy clothes. those were for her i can tell...

He gripped my neck harder and i started to lose oxygen. i wanted to fight but i was tired... i promised her but i was truly and honestly tired, I'm dying by the hands of her brother so it should be fine...

I held my hands to touch his that was gripping on my neck, i lift my left hand to his face "Please end me... Thank you".

I get to feel what is death, although i was afraid of death strangely it feels warm and comfortable, i wished to just sleep in this warmth, suddenly a familliar voice spoke to me,

'Please open your eyes Valarie.. please'

As soon as i opened my eyes i was laying on a big pale hands the seemed to belong to a girl, i looked up behind me and saw rosetta looking like a goddes of light, she had such a lovely smile like an angel looking at me, i asked her if it was really her.

'R-rosetta?..'

she looked at me and nodded her head replying to me with such a sweet voice.

'Yes..valarie'

Tears started pouring out seeing that im with her, i bend down and kneeled before her crying and apologising for what i've done, she help me up and hugged me.

'i've told didn't i? do not blame yourself'

I still couldn't stop crying in her arms my snots where even on her clothes.

a few moments later on i calmed down, and i was a little embarrassed for such an old lady like myself crying in her arms..

i asked her what happened how did she became like this, she replied to me with a troubled expression.

'Well.. that isn't what's important right now Valarie'

Rosetta held my hand and she glowed up for a few seconds, i was confused so i asked her what it was.

'its inhiritance i let you inhirit my abilities and informations that'll be of help to you, and Valarie there are many of me out there, please inhirit them before anyone else could, they had all already woken up waiting for someone to inhirit theirs'.

i asked her why and whats going on.

'the only way to restore back peace in this world is in one of those inhiritances, if any of the other greedy humans gets the inhiritance this world will collapse'

Rosetta pushed me gently in a dark hole, i tried strugling many times but i couldn't stop being sucked somewhere deep down in the dark hole.

'Valarie i had gifted you my child that'll assist you, i wish you well Val this isn't goodbye i'll be just sleeping in a a random humans body tho i don't know when i'll wake up, but i hope you could find me soon'

*slowly losing comcious.

i woke up in such a comfortable way as if all my burdens of broken bones wounds and even fatigue was gone..

was this because of rosetta?

i got up from bed and strangely i felt small/short?, a painful headache suddenly came, i was used to having such pain why is it that it hurts?!...

i noticed my hands is quite small and no scars, so is my hair wasn't this long? and white??...

i looked around me in panick and found my self in my old room although i had a hazy memories of my peaceful days i could still recognize my room.. i found a big mirror beside the Cabinet.

i looked at myself carefully seeing that i had seemed to have became young, but silver hair?.. was it part of the inhiritance?...

i looked at the calendar and the house it seemed that i went back to when i was young i was back in time where it 2 months away from the calamity hitting earth!!.

I remembered what rosetta told me, and i swore to myself that i'll save my love ones and find rosetta again, it shouldn't be hard meeting her again.. Alright then i'll be stronger when we meet again!!.
