Lucian's ears were ringing and he couldn't hear anything. It sounded like he was under water. Like he'd stood to close to speakers at a concert and now they were ringing. He'd more smelled Dawn's blood then heard her call for him and he knew Juan had to be back in.


He'd gone down to the windowed area, and found Colbalt standing there. The whistle sound they used to call him got extremely loud and shrill. Enough that he had to cover his ears, and Colbalt was asking him something. Which he took to be, "Can you hear me?"


'No I can't fucking hear you.' He'd said to him in an angry growl. Why the hell had he done that to him? Colbalt did things like that all the time. Experimented on him just to see what would happen. However now he had a feeling it had more to do with Juan then not and he was pissed. Which made him turn and go back to where he'd left Dawn until he smelled her blood and switch direction.
