A Glimpse Of True Power

Stella skipped away happily as she ate a sweet roll from her food box. She had to clean the disgusting taste of the chocolate cake she had eaten in the bakery.

She glanced at her own information as she ate the sweet roll.

She examined her newly unsealed abilities and found out, they were bugged, as usual.

[Absolute Stealth] and [Arcane Invisibility] were simply perfect. She could literally phase away from reality if she activated both of these abilities at the same time. This was a bit similar to [Void Speedster], but they were fundamentally different as she left reality to enter the Void.

However, Stella felt [Primo##### Sense] was the most powerful one out of the three, because it came from the same kind of people that [Apex Hunter] ability was from. She still couldn't utter their name, as she felt her consciousness get hazy whenever she tried.

She cracked her knuckles as she approached the city gate. Her [Absolute Stealth] and [Arcane Invisibility] were already active.

She was getting ready to sprint.... and so she removed her strength limiter.

Stella lightly started jogging, and then she started to run. Her speed reached an insane amount as she dashed towards the city gate.

But nobody heard the terrifying sonic boom she produced because of [Absolute Stealth].

'Will I crash into the gate if I go like this? Huh..... I should be able to intentionally receive environmental and magical impacts should I choose to. If I chose to ignore it, I should be able to phase through.

Let's create some chaos.'

She directly crashed into the gate.

.

.

BOOM

.

An earth-shattering collision sound spread throughout the entire city as the gate flew away.

That's right. The entire gate broke away from the city walls and got flung into the distance at an incredible speed.

The lower part of the gate was bent weirdly.

All the magical arrays and defensive runes simply disintegrated into the air due to the sheer destructive force.

It was nothing but scrap metal now.

The most fortified gate in the Avelon Empire..... became scrap, just like that.

The entire platoon of elite and magical knights that guarded the door:

"..."

People that were waiting for entry to the city:

"..."

However, the gate couldn't slow down Stella in the slightest.

She zoomed away far into the distance, not waiting to see anyone's reaction.

It would be just a bunch of 'Holy shit' anyways.

Actually, it should be quite blasphemous to call feces 'holy' in a world where Gods exist.

'Huh? Did I actually miss a big show? Whatever.'

Stella changed her ability's properties again so that she won't be impacted by environmental objects and crash into something.

So she peacefully phased through trees, houses, fences, people, and so on.

As she sped up more and more, time seemed to slow down. And she could finally feel that she could establish a connection to the void outside reality.

So she finally activated her [Void Speedster] ability.

Wap!

The entire world turned cosmic grey and everything turned silent. Time slowed down further.

She wasn't actually on the planet anymore, not even in that reality. The world she was seeing was merely a projection to help her navigate in the void.

She couldn't touch anything and they couldn't touch her either.

And she could run in any direction she wanted to. Even vertically into the sky, or into the ground. As there were no proper vectors in the absolute Void.

She was simply stepping on air. Or more specifically, the Void, as she ran.

'There's no air in here. Huh, I don't actually need to breathe. That was expected. I would be quite surprised if I actually needed to air to survive.'

As she sped up more, time seemed to slow down almost to a halt.

'Am I about to reach the speed of light?

Running in circles with such a low radius of a planet is indeed tricky with such speed. If I were a little less careful, I would start running inside the ground. I should run in the radius of the planet's yearly rotation instead.'

She calculated with her [Nihility Computation] that it should take about an hour to run the entire radius of the planet's rotation trajectory around the star. If she reaches the speed of light and further beyond that is.

However, she had to be careful of her relative trajectory, or else she might end up leaving the star system altogether.

And as her mastery over [Space Authority] was still quite low, so she wasn't confident that she would be able to return to this planet's coordinate.

When she used her [Gaze of ######] on herself for the first time, she already received all the information about the laws of that reality.

So she naturally had a good idea of how to utilize the laws and authorities.

'Whatever, if I get flicked away in another star system, and get lost, it's not my problem anymore.'

She could feel, that if she were to face an unresolvable problem that was out of her abilities, someone will intervene. She knew someone was always keeping a close watch on her.

'What will happen if I exceed the speed of light?' Stella was excited about this prospect.

So she sped up more and more.

Finally, she could feel time to get to a halt, and then it slowly started to reverse.

'I actually did it?' Stella was so excited that she almost got off course from her route.

Never in her life Stella thought she could run faster than light.

But suddenly her [Time Authority] activated and the time reversal stopped. It seemed to activate on its own to protect her from something.

'Huh, are there actually problems by running faster than light?

Was I going back to the past?

So that's why [Time Authority] activated?'

Time flow simply stopped as her authority was active. Despite exceeding the speed of light, she wasn't affected by time.

A notice entered her consciousness.

[

[ has reached basic mastery]

As she entered the Void and started manipulating time, she was getting familiar with these two absolute laws of [Space-Time].

However, another notice entered her consciousness.

[Minimum mastery over two absolute laws complete. has been unsealed.]

'Oh? What's this?'

She checked its details.

[Undeniable Authority: Can command and dominate all laws of any universe, cosmos, or reality. Can use all types of magic. Has access to ###### tier powers. Exclusive ability of Primo######]

As she activated this ability, she instantaneously spread her consciousness and dominated all laws and authorities in a spherical radius of 100km around her.

'I could feel... every elements, laws under my command... As if they were my limbs... I could manipulate all laws around me at will?

[Yes, you can modify and control all laws around you.

Everything is under your dominion within this radius.

Gravity, Light, Sound, Fate, Chaos, Elements like fire, earth, and so on, will only obey your command within this radius. All the building blocks that make up worlds, universes, cosmos, realities will only heed you.

This ability is directly attached to your consciousness.

Currently you have minimal mastery over this ability. It is recommended to keep using it to gain better control over it so that you can increase your range of consciousness. Gaining full mastery over this innate ability will let you instantaneously spread your consciousness to envelop entire realities and dominate them instantaneously.]

The [Gaze of ######] spoke.

This ability was absurd. Too absurd.

Her consciousness would be able to envelop entire realities and command all laws within it when she could control this ability fully.

'This... this is too much isn't it? If I could envelop entire realities with my authority, wouldn't I be able to destroy it immediately?'

Stella couldn't even fathom how powerful she actually was if this was true.

[Yes. You just have to will it to be destroyed. And the entire reality will collapse. Nothing will survive.

Realities are nothing but small fragile pebbles in front of you. Even this ability is nothing but a miniscule portion of your actual power.

However, this ability is quite useful for your current circumstances.]

The cold and monotone voice of [Gaze of ######] sounded out.

'But why? Why would I need this much power? Why would I need the power to destroy countless universes, cosmos and realities?

Why would I need the power to literally kill hundreds of quadrillions of beings with just a thought? Why???'

Her stomach was churning.

She felt her entire existence was something ominous.

Stella was puzzled.

'Who am I?

What is my purpose?'

Unfortunately, nobody answered her questions.

She would have to find the purpose of her existence by herself.
