A Trip To The Divine Realm

"So this is the Divine realm?" Stella spread her consciousness and enveloped the planet again. Then instantly put it under her dominion by using [Undeniable Authority]. And just like that, the entirety of the Divine realm belonged to her.

She could see, hear, feel, control, and manipulate everything within the Divine realm now, just like the mortal realm.

She could disintegrate the entire Divine realm with just a thought. She could do the same with the mortal realm too. But, mass-murdering innocents doesn't seem very fun, does it?

Stella focused on observing the changes. It was technically the same planet, but everything was different. Terrains, vegetation, oceans, structures... everything on the surface was completely new. The sun seemed to be a bit brighter too.

Each realm had a version of its planet. If the planet in a single realm gets destroyed, the other realms would be mostly unaffected. So, this world having four realms meant the planet had four versions of it. Each is in a different plane of existence, overlapping with each other at the same position and spatial coordinates.

"You.... did you just teleport directly to the Divine realm?" Sylvania felt numb. Even Gods needed to open up a passageway before entering this place.

"That's right. I did." Stella replied nonchalantly.

"You should've at least let me know beforehand. It's been quite a while since I stepped foot here. And my grudge against the people here runs deep. I have traces of my Divinity within me right now as I used it a while ago. So they probably discovered me already. They'll be here for me any moment." Sylvania sighed. She was in a troublesome position. Stella brought her to the Divine realm before she could even explain her enmity with the Gods here. She wasn't ready to face them directly in the Divine realm yet.

"Oh? Are you sure they'll come for you? I don't think so. I naturally know about your conflict with them. Why would I drop you in front of the tiger's den to die? We've become friends, after all.." Stella already erased Sylvania's presence in reality by using [Absolute Stealth]. She can only be found visually. And nobody in the Divine realm would recognize her mortal appearance.

"They won't?" Sylvania couldn't say what kind of power she used. Gods had to manipulate the laws or use their Divinity to use powers that could affect other Gods. But she didn't seem to do anything at all. But Sylvania quickly adjusted her thoughts. Stella was someone who she would never understand, no matter how much she tried.

But inwardly she was a bit happy to realize Stella considered her a friend. Because of her Divinity, she frightened other Gods. So she barely had any friends.

However, the way Stella forged this friendship was weird, even for her taste. 'Beating someone until they become friends leans a bit towards a 'Sadist-Masochist' dynamic, doesn't it?' Sylvania shivered. But she quickly shook away this thought from her mind.

"Mm-hmm. They won't be able to find you. There are a lot of Gods here, 791 to be exact. And few of them are almost as powerful as you.

But I find the Divine realm to be a bit.... disappointing. I expected more glamour and shine. This is just the mortal realm but with only a few million residents instead of billions. Although many of these losers have good-looking castles and stuff floating in the sky." Stella felt it was a big letdown. Gods didn't seem that impressive to her. She had visited countless different realities, universes, worlds, and civilizations. To her, the Divine realm felt like a cheap amusement park.

"I see...that's to be expected... coming from you." Sylvania felt a bit odd. She couldn't wrap the fact around her head as to how could the Divine realm be unimpressive.

'And did she just call the Gods a bunch of losers?' Sylvania burst out laughing as she realized this.

"Why are you laughing? Did I say something funny? Oh, I see. You realized you're even a bigger loser than them." Stella wiped off the smugness from Sylvania's face.

"....." Sylvania gritted her teeth as her face changed colors from white to red, then red to black. 'Calm down, let's not violently get thrashed all the way to death's door again.' She breathed heavily and tried to calm herself down as she knew incurring Stella's wrath a second time again would be absolutely terrifying. She felt even her soul might not get spared next time. She would truly die.

"Whatever, I'm currently on a tight schedule. So unfortunately we won't be 'procrastinating' in the Divine realm today, although there's something interesting going on. But before we leave, why don't we visit some of your old friends?" Stella asked the black-faced Sylvania.

"I... I don't think that's a good idea." Sylvania took a deep breath.

"Aw, you're no fun. Don't worry, I'll give you a good show. And, I didn't ask you a question, it was a statement." Stella's face formed a sadistic grin.

Sylvania shivered and an ominous feeling slowly welled up in her heart. 'Oh no. Is she turning into a sadist? Am I being held hostage right now? I'm truly done for this time.'

But Stella paid no mind to her worries as she teleported away with Sylvania.

"So, Nzeru, How have you been?" A tall-looking brawny person asked the middle-aged bearded man sitting beside him. However, they weren't alone.

This conversation was being held in a grand hall, decorated with majestic ornaments. Hundreds of golden and luxurious seats were neatly arranged, with a few of them on a high pedestal, facing the rest.

Most of the seats were filled. The beings sitting on these seats gave off a sublime and ethereal glow. The hall itself resonated with their aura, enveloping them with the law and fate of the world.

This was the Hall of Divinity. Only the Gods who held Divine power acknowledged by the world itself had the authority to enter this place. The laws and elements of the entire Divine realm converged onto this point.

"I've seen better days. But I'm doing just fine. Can't say that about you, Maximus." Nzeru shrugged his shoulders.

"Heh, let's see how long you can be so smug. Your days are already limited." Maximus replied in a slightly agitated tone, regretting saying anything to him. 'Lucky bastard. I've wanted to get rid of you along with that bitch Vena. But that was being too optimistic. Schemers like you are more annoying than cockroaches.'

"We'll see about that." Nzeru said with gleaming eyes, seemingly deep in thought. 'Our days are indeed numbered.' He inwardly chuckled.

The two beings that were talking were the God of Wisdom - Nzeru, God of Strength - Maximus.

They were sitting in the front seats that were on the pedestal. Even though they were friendly on the outside, everyone knew they wanted nothing but to tear each other apart. However, three more Gods were sitting beside two of them on the pedestal, indicating their power was equal to or even greater than theirs.

Among them were the Goddess of Nature - Zemes, God of Wrath - Draco, God of Greed - Mammon.

There are seven seats on the pedestal, but only five Gods sat on them, and six were occupied in total, facing the rest of the Gods had seats below them.

They were currently here to discuss the turbulent fate of both the mortal and Divine realms.

"We've gathered here because of an anomalous situation. The fate embodying the mortal realm collapsed for a brief period of time. But it reformed itself soon after. However, its properties were changed for some reason. We can no longer influence it with our Divinities." Goddess of Nature, Zemes spoke.

"True. Even the fate in the Divine realm has become chaotic. We can no longer glimpse into it." God of Wisdom, Nzeru chimed in.

"If we can no longer influence fate in the mortal realm, won't our blessings that we gave out to our believers be nullified?" A God spoke out from below.

"No, the blessings that we already gave out should still be effective. However, we cannot give out any new blessings." Zemes replied.

"This will severely affect the faith we can collect from our believers. So, rest assured we are trying our best to stabilize the chaotic fate in this realm." The God of Wrath, Draco assured the restless Gods.

"Is that so?" A sweet and melodious voice entered all of their ears.

As they focused on the person who said that, they were first stunned, then confused.

A little girl was sitting on top of a pedestal chair. She was wearing a majestic gold-white robe that shone with brilliance. Her bright emerald green eyes showed a cunning gleam. However, she seemed a bit bored, even under the gaze of many powerful Gods.

All of them were flabbergasted.

'Who is she? She is clearly a mortal, what is she doing in the Divine realm? How did she enter the Hall of Divinity? How come we didn't notice her all this time?' Their heads were filled with countless questions.

But they found no answers.

The five Gods on the pedestals were even more dumbfounded. 'What the fuck?! Someone was sitting beside us the whole time and we didn't notice?'

That was indeed the case. The pedestal had seven seats. Only five Gods had the authority to sit there. But the number of occupied seats was six. She was here from the beginning. But nobody saw her, as if all the Divine beings in the place were the same as blind pigs.

The five Gods sitting on the pedestal had various expressions on their faces. And their intuitions started ringing alarm bells when they met that little girl's cunning and playful gaze.

The Gods down below felt something wrong too. But they couldn't get a grip on exactly what it was.

"Answer the question, little duck." The little girl said nonchalantly. But her sweet voice caused the hearts of everyone present in the hall to clench with a foreboding feeling.
