Hyeon didn't feel any regret or guilt after what he'd done. He went through years of torment because of the blonde and many times he had considered suicide. To finally have his revenge was like a weight lifted off his shoulders. However, there was still the problem of where his sister was.
He doubted that she went far, the possibilities of what happened to her, excluding death was that one, she was hiding somewhere, two, she had found some company and was bravely wandering through the apocalypse doing god knows what, and three, she had found the shelter mentioned on the news and was safe.
Hyeon decided that if he doesn't find her in the next five days then the next place he'd look was the shelter. If she wasn't there then he'd leave and continue his search. There was no way he was giving up on the only family he had left.
The bat in his hand never served a purpose, it seemed as if he would only use it when dealing with troublesome humans as zombies either outright ignored him or lost interest after approaching him.

It's been four days since Hyeon left the store, four days of him endlessly searching for Yeon but coming up empty handed. He sat on a log in the middle of the dark and creepy woods staring up at the sky. He was sad, he missed his family, he was utterly alone and broken. He wanted to cry but his face remained cold and void of emotions despite all the chaotic feelings he had inside.
"I'm sorry Yeon, I was a terrible brother to you."
"Were you?" A voice entered his ear sounding mischievous and cheerful. Hyeon snapped his head around and his black eyes stared into deep stormy grey ones. The night was pitch black and normal humans wouldn't be able to make out the features of the person but Hyeon was different.
His eyes roamed the face of the stranger. He was attractive, like beyond humanly possible. He had a symmetrical face, thin and perfectly arched eyebrows that his long eyelashes were almost brushing against, from what Hyeon could see, he had hair that barely touched his shoulder with a piece bulled up into a short ponytail leaving some hair to fall down at the back. His beige lips were pulled up into a smirk that looked as if he mocked everything.
Hyeon frowned and shifted back a little as the stranger was so close his breath was kissing Hyeon's cheek. "Who are you?" Hyeon questioned, eyeing the teenager suspiciously.
The boy grinned and slumped down on the log beside Hyeon, leaning his head to the side as he quietly observed the other. "I'm Aayan." His eyes twinkled and he raised a finger to Hyeon's forehead and brushed a stray piece of hair away to avoid it poking him in the eye. "I finally got to meet you, Hyeon."
"How do yo-" How did he know his name? Hyeon never got to finish his sentence because Aayan had pressed his lip to Hyeon's forehead. If Hyeon was able to blush he'd be as red as a fully ripened tomato.
Hyeon pulled back and rushed away from the boy, pressing himself to a tree, rubbing his forehead as if to get rid of all traces of Aayan's lips. Said person laughed and stared at Hyeon with amusement.
"I was just teasing, you're acting like I took your virginity." He gave another chuckle and stretched out on the log with his eyes closed as if to go to sleep. Steam was literally being emitted from Hyeon.
"Where the fuck will I sleep then?" Aayan chuckled and rolled over, falling in the dirt, he propped himself up on his elbow no doubt scraping it against stones yet his face showed no signs of discomfort.
"There you go." He smiled at Hyeon and if not for his previous actions Hyeon would think that this smile was genuine.
Hyeon nodded to him and laid down on the log glancing at the stranger below. His eyes were closed, his long eyelashes brushing against his dark, caramel skin. He had black curly hair that was all over the place, some falling to the nape of his neck and some falling over his eyebrows and the rest in a ponytail.
His eyebrows were thick and beautiful, lips pale in colour. Aayan was truly handsome.
Hyeon closed his eyes to rid himself of thinking of the stranger as anything more than that. A stranger. It was most likely due to him recently finding out he was gay but seeing a guy this handsome made his hormones skyrocket.

The sun woke Hyeon. The bright and hot rays burning into his skin forced him to open his eyes, though sleep was not really required for him and he was like a corpse when he was asleep due to lack of breath, movements and heartbeat. He still preferred to do the activities a normal human would do.
It made him feel like less of a monster.
He glanced down and saw that Aayan was still sleeping, thus he decided to silently go about his business and pray that he'd never run into this charming and flirty devil again.
"Going somewhere?" Hyeon froze
Instead of directly answering he chose to ask. "Did I wake you?" Aayan's eyes opened and yet again stunned the stoic Hyeon who stared with amazement at the beauty of those eyes. To any outsider though, he was simply giving the other a cold and annoyed stare.
Seeming as though he couldn't handle the harshness of Hyeon's stare, Aayan got up and brushed dust off his blue jeans jumpsuit. "It's okay, just a pin falling would be enough to wake me." He chuckled "Good thing you don't snore, I wouldn't have gotten an ounce of sleep"
Just another indicator that he doesn't breathe. Having not gotten a reply, Aayan looked up, however his mouth froze as he openly scanned the youth.
His face pulled into a frown. "What's with the bandages? Are you hurt anywhere?" He stepped forward and reached forward as if to fully examine every nook and cranny of Hyeon.
Hyeon shook his head. "It's nothing. I'm ugly underneath these bandages and I prefer to hide that." This made Aayan frown even more.
Hyeon turned and looked around trying to remember what route to take to get to the shelter. "I should have found you sooner." Hyeon looked back at the muttering person who was currently biting at his fingernails in an agitated manner.
"What did you say?" Hyeon was too preoccupied to catch what Aayan had said but the boy didn't repeat he only smiled and asked
"So where are we headed?"
"I" After putting a big emphasis on the pronoun Hyeon continued. "I'm going to the shelter."
Hyeon could have imagined it, but for a brief second, a look of horror crossed Aayan's face but it was only for a second and his previous smile quickly returned. "May I ask why?"
