Andrew jumped onto the double bed as soon as the bellboy left. Ivy turned around to find him rubbing his palm against the velvet bed covering.
“Umm, feels like I am floating on a cloud,” Andrew said dreamily.
“What the h*ll was that? We can’t share a room!” Ivy said.
Andrew sat up and grinned at her.
“You didn’t seem to mind when I announced it down there when your ex was around,” he said.
Ivy wrinkled her nose at him.
“You took advantage of me at my moment of weakness,” she complained. Andrew smiled as he strode over to her.
“Careful there, sweetheart. Someone might overhear you and take that statement out of context. All I did was see a friend in need of being rescued and I stepped up. I would never take advantage of you,” he teased as he pressed his forefinger on her wrinkled nose.
“We can’t share a room!” Ivy repeated.
