Andrew made his way toward the conference room. When Ivy had returned to the room the previous night, he had already taken a shower and perched himself on the couch pretending to watch a movie. When he had heard the door opening, he had closed his eyes and pretended to have fallen asleep on the couch.
He had opened his eyes slightly and spied as she tip-toed around the room and made her way to the bathroom. The sound of running water had alerted him to the fact that she was taking a shower. He had opened his eyes and fixed them onto the door. He had cautioned himself countless times when his mind had wandered into the shower. What did her already golden skin look like when the water glistened on it?
When she had returned to the room in a robe, he had again acted like he was fast asleep. Even fake snoring to make his actions believable. He knew the issue of sharing a bed with him was bugging Ivy. So he had decided to sleep on the couch without making her feel guilty about it.
