Chapter 50: Epilogue

“Ready?” Kim asked.

“Yes,” Ivy said simply. Within minutes, she would descend the curved staircase at her father’s side into the back garden of Kariba Castle where Andrew waited for her in the presence of their families, friends, and acquaintances.

“You look beautiful,” Kim complimented with genuine sincerity as she leaned in close and touched Ivy’s cheek with her own. “There are so many things I want to say now, but all I can say is may you be as happy for the rest of your days as you are today. Do you know this saying, ‘Sometimes, love is not something we have to hunt down, sometimes love has a way of locating us?’”

Ivy could hear Jane chuckle from the bottom of the stairs, as she would be the one to lead the bridal team. “And I guess Rihanna said that?”

Kim frowned down at Jane. “No, Ivy Benson said that.”

For the first time, her sister had quoted right.

“I love you, kiddo!”

“I love you too, sis!”

“I think I am going to cry!” Ivy whispered.
