The morning and early afternoon go by smoothly. We shop in some of the high-end stores, and I get myself some new clothes that I know Anthony will appreciate. I choose to not talk about Anthony much because every time his name is brought up Clara makes a disgusted face and mutters some obscenity under her breath. 


She also refuses to allow me to buy her anything with his credit card. When I asked her why this morning, she simply replied that she will not use dirty money to purchase anything no matter how desperately she needs it. 


Her behavior is complete bullsh*t because she steals medicine from the hospital all the time for herself, so she doesn’t have to go to the doctor and spend money. She doesn’t see it the same though.
