As Aliah tried to get her bearings, a voice spoke into her head.  "Aliah, good, you're here."


"Sorry for being so rough. I only have a little time, and I need to speak with you urgently."


"Amelia?" Aliah was more than surprised. The seer was usually so scrupulous about following correct protocol when mind speaking. For her to pull Aliah into a conversation in this way could only mean one thing - something was very wrong.


"Again, I can only apologise for being so abrupt... so many things to do and so little time. Seamus has been sent to the borders to deal with some incursions. You must hurry and meet him there. You and he must face this threat together."


"Dominic and I were discussing arrangements for him to go and do just that. He can certainly meet up with Seamus. I'm sure, between them, they can get this situation sorted."
