Chapter 65: All Right, I'll Think Some More II

'And she said she hated being The Warrior sometimes.' Mina flopped back on Gabriel's bed, arms outstretched.

'Well, yeah, that's obvious.'

Gabriel moved her right arm so he could place a pile of clothes on the bed. Mina slapped his hand away.

'Why is it obvious, oh great, wise one?'

Mina rolled, sat up, and swung her legs onto the bed. Sitting cross-legged, leaning her chin on her hands as she watched her brother pack, she waited for him to enlighten her.

Sighing as if it was too much trouble to educate his dense sister, Gabriel said, 'No one is only one thing. I mean, Father was a duke's son, then a spy, and now a king. But he's also a husband, a father, and a friend.'

Gabriel opened his travel pack and began rolling his clothes and placing them inside. Mina punched his arm, frustrated at his ability to put his thoughts into words.
