The armour started shifting like a sentient being and completely morphed into Emma's shape.

"How do I look?" Emma looked at Ryan while she aimed her hand forward. Suddenly an energy blast came out of her wrists. Ryan felt a different kind of danger from the blast.

Ryan quickly dodged the blast and it went past him and collided with the wall. Ryan quickly created a shield over everyone including Dawn who was resting in her room.

The blast gave birth to a grey light that washed over the entire room. John felt something deep inside him hurting. It was like he was dying a million times at once.

Ryan's eyes went wide as he quickly covered John with a static time barrier. John sighed in relief but then noticed that all his senses were blocked. He started to frantically rub his eyes but nothing seemed to work.
