she is now In a room and sitting in a single bed watching the cars and lights from distant buildings and thinking silently because she can't sleep

Noire: so my problems about money are solved, the new location of the base isn't decided yet because staying around in the same city permanently will cause me boredom

After a long silence Noire just accepted that the Herrscher inside of her become a lethargic person
Noire looked at the sphere in the socket that is charging itself
Noire: I guess heading out to hunt isn't a bad idea
Noire straighten her nightgown and tried to estimate the distance toward the place where the highest number of mutants gather according to Neko's map from her memory
Noire: I could get back here about 3 am if I hunt for 5 hours
Noire: I wish I could find a super mutant
Noire jumps but the doorknob have moved that she immediately goes under the blanket and feigns sleep

Kallen for some reason can't sleep and something is missing that even her dolls can't replicate
Kallen: I want to sleep with Noire...
Kallen: her smell and the heat from her body make me want to hug it...
Kallen: I'm going to look at Noire if she had the same sentiments
Kallen: it isn't because I want to, but because I worried about her sleeping in an unknown house that isn't familiar to her so she must have been trouble sleeping
Kallen persuade herself that it was normal
Kallen walks towards the dimly lit corridor and goes towards Noire's room
Kallen: Hmm? she didn't lock it? I guess she go outside or she forgot about it...
Kallen puts the spare key that she took and put it back into her digital storage
Kallen: I will see if she is there...
Kallen opens the door and she sees a bump in the blankets with the lamp still shining
Kallen: (I see... so she is sleeping...)
Kallen looked around and sees that the window seemed opened
Kallen: She forgot to close the window too?
Kallen enters the room and closes the windows and stays still for a few moments
Kallen: (I'm pretty sure when she is deeply asleep she has a faint snore but I didn't hear it right now)
Kallen: Noire are you awake?
The bump in the bed slowly revealed her head
Noire: yes...
Kallen: (She is cute!!!)
Kallen: (wait... this isn't the first time I noticed that, but still she's cute!)
Kallen: you can't fall asleep?
Noire nods
Kallen: do you want us to sleep together?
Noire nods enthusiastically
Kallen gets inside of the blanket and lays down and Noire comes closer to Kallen
Kallen hugs Noire closer and they looked at each other's eyes
Noire: I love you...
Kallen is surprised by the sudden sweetness from her and smiles
Kallen: I love you too
They kissed and they sleep peacefully

Morning has come and Noire snuggled toward Kallen
Neko boots up and turns to see two people snuggling each other

Neko nods at herself and when she turns back towards the bed

Kallen is pointing her gun towards Neko and she is holding the still asleep blond girl
Kallen's eyes convey her meaning and Neko isn't stupid to not realize it
*knock* *knock*
Kallen put her gun back and proceeds to wake up Noire

I guess losing someone important twice has taken a toll on her mind that she become aggressive and protective of her loved ones
