487: Emperor's Death_2

Prince Wu looked up to meet his younger brother's eyes, filled with pity, and was momentarily stunned, then he saw Prince Jing awkwardly shift his gaze away in discomfort. Prince Wu slightly lowered his eyes; he didn't even feel like getting angry anymore, it seemed too tiring.

All he wanted now was to wear his crime and perform meritorious service, so his mother could live more comfortably in the future.

"Third Brother, I meant no offense, don't take it to heart, okay?" Prince Jing was a straightforward person. Having been caught on the spot, he spoke his thoughts openly instead of feeling embarrassed.

"I know," Prince Wu smiled, "This time I asked for your help, and you've run around quite a bit for me. I thank you, brother."

Prince Jing breathed a sigh of relief, "We're brothers; it's strange to talk like this. But, Third Brother, this matter will pass, right?"

Prince Jing was worried that their eldest brother wouldn't let go and insisted on holding onto the matter.
