Chapter - 4

When her conversation died, she ran through the stairs, leaving him under the caprice weather. Lucas stayed on the stairs and she stopped after spotting him. The evident sincerity and saddened tears which inspired the reasonable disinclination in his heart.

"Are you alright?" He asked, but his words weren't inexplicable to her, she surpassed him. Lucas walked to the roof, he ought to consider himself very fortunate if he could only find a matter of minutes with him, and yet now he was alone with him on the roof where no soul would eloquent their appearance. Lucas walked to the edge and slipped his fingers onto his pocket, a cigarette slept all right between his fingers.

"Want one?"

"No thanks," He dispersed himself to the scrawny view of the town that could swallow everyone if it wanted to.

"So is she your girlfriend?" Languidly the rainy cloud shifted to close.

"Well, she was but not anymore," Lucas stared at the city hushed by a silent lulled hum of the wind with his eyes shut to all deceitful rest and the barren down behind the apartment.

"Don't you think that it was your fault?" All those discretion and all those scrawny letters that he'd found in his Gramps cabinet, he could still avail it.

"Excuse me? Who are you to tell me that?!" The perilous vibe that radiated through them that was going to last long enough to make him enervate.

"No one, just letting you know, if you get anywhere close to her then I'm gonna kill you!" Lucas left him behind with the fortified eyes that stared at him. He walked down to the evening that followed the morning that was without any tender times, the thin walls had been there but he didn't easel his ears, the feelings had perturbed him and his thoughts were unbridled. This experience had sternly guided her to the seclusion and utter silence that he'd dreamt of not breaking. The day elapsed then a week and he couldn't even try to hear her voice, but last night he'd noticed her leaving the apartment, he knew it was her as he'd already caught the sound of her sandals. He'd rose and stuck to the wall then the wind rattled and wove her voice.

"No Isa, I'm not gonna give him any more chances, I'm done with him, You don't know what he did," Those waves had made his excursion thoughts turn to haze, she was still thinking about him.

"I can't, I really can't tell you,"

"Okay, I'll talk to you later." Her peculiarities did speak to Lucas every single time he'd listened to her, it was something that he could do nothing about, soon the sound graved and he let himself rest in his thoughts, she had only the face that was similar to the painting but not her personalities, she was far off, but her peculiarities and her ominous likeness had made him flutter in love with her even more now. Then he'd heard the door being unlocked, it was hers, he'd peeked through, and there she was, leaning on the balustrade and surveying the city with the winds waddling onto her and making her hair flutter and the chirps of birds that charmed her appearance, even more, he slowly walked out and stayed on the balustrade. She looked at him then gave a smile and surveyed the city again, the complexion looked neater and sharped under the breeze that was running at its finest pace. Lucas took out the cigarettes.

"You want some?" Asked Lucas.

"Thank You very much," her fingers crossed over his and it made his heart beat faster, he'd given her the lighter then those little fumes crawled out of her wet lips.

"Are you all right? I mean I was going to the roof to smoke, there I heard your conversation with your boyfriend," she looked at him with great condescension and remarked a great profound of vehement.

"I'm fine, I'm fine without him," Lucas nodded.

"Anyway see you later." Although Lucas wanted to ask her what he did his own thoughts couldn't comprehend the affluent circumstances of her being single. She'd hewed the butt of the cigarette then hid herself behind her door. Lucas stayed there for a minute then went for a walk, the dark clouds were ready to throw the dips of water but he didn't care, he was in a mood that no one could eloquently describe. The forest that he spotted when he tumbled upon this city, he knew the time to come there and that exact time was here. Soon the crowd lessened slowly, then he stepped into the lonely road, it wasn't exasperating any much then the thought of running on his mind fused in, and the breeze helped him to run, he sprints with the wind smooching his hair and parts, the aroma of coconut tree swished and it made him know that he was closer. The smile stayed on his cheeks and his eyes were awash with inestimable happiness. He kept his feet running intuitively then stood against those trees and the aroma of trees rummaged with the bees, The forest welcomed with the chirping birds chirped through the way, and in his eyes, the tree felt that it unruffled its wing for him. The quaint path intuitively showed him the signs of a new generation, for them, it was trifling these days, the road had those leaves that rattled onto his feet, and the breeze attuned to the heart of the forest, the tree that had those little drawings scrawled into it, he didn't like it but from the view, it was made by a kid and that made it tolerable and happy that still some kids still used to come here. He leaned on the stone and felt the breeze.

"You know I talked to her for the first time," Then it was the time for trees to reply and they did with their leaves fluttering with the wind, it made Lucas happy. Soon the footsteps aroused through the forest, he'd turned his head towards it, and there he found him, her boyfriend.
